Zenit Lisboa  

Fantastic staff, clean comfortable room, good food, the decor in reception, everything.

Very poor internet connection. In four days I never managed to access my e-mails. Not important, I was on holiday but would be inportant to a businessman

The reason we have chosen Zenith hotel, is because it's the only one that did not prohibit smoking in the rooms and had special balconies in the rooms for smokers. The location of the hotel is excellent. First, it's not noisy like other hotels located in the center. Second, it's located 2 minutes walk from Soldanha Square, with plenty of buses lines (including the Aero-bus to the airport), a crossing of two metro station lines, and also possible to get to the city center by foot (about 30-40 minutes walk). The meals were outstandingly good, rich breakfast, very good prepared evening meals. The hotel personnel were very helpful and very polite. In the reception they speak English well. They have even booked for us various restaurants and cruises (free of charge). The hotel's facilities and rooms are kept clean and look very nice. The facade is clean and nice looking. No noisy neighbors were heard by us. The room was big enough and convenient. Nice bed. Modern shower and bath. Even a good view from the window. Warmly recommended.

As you enter the hotel, in the lobby there are some stairs down. I believe some people will find it difficult to pick their luggage and carry them down.

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, good location.

I bought the romantic package with a bedroom with large bed, with leaving area, a rose, breakfast in bedroom but I had nothing! The bed was confortable but I had nothing of romantic expecting me. The room has no sound proof and I woke up very early with people talking and door knocking noise.

Good location, conveniently located near the metro station. Rooms and bathrooms are big enough.

Reception staff were in general very umpolite. I was waiting for nearly 40 minutes before I did check-in...I arrived at 13:15h but nobody told me that the policy was not to give the key until 14:00h, so they lied me (the room is not ready, we are making up the room..) and at 14:00h...superb! the room is ready. Really unprofesional. The guest in the adjacent room caused a lot of problems during the weekend (smoking in a non smoking room, noise at any time in the night, customers complaints...) but the hotel did nothing and I (and the rest of the floor) were forced to breathe smoke and wake up early..

Fine service, good restaurant, good breakfast and excellent price

Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't work on Saturdays and Sundays, a little bit strange bed with wheels-not very comfortable

Safety deposit boxes in rooms not working

All three of us absolutely loved the Zenit--so far our favorite hotel in Lisbon. We love the adaptive reuse of an older building and the remodeling is beautifully done. The restaurant is a hidden treasure.

We were sorry to see that, in a country of great coffee, they used bulk- made instant coffee at breakfast!

Comfort, breakfast

Clean, contemporary hotel with helpful staff and good clean rooms. Breakfast - good choice.

a nice location, not in the heart of the city, therefor quiet and nice.axess to the city is very easy by tram busses or taxis in a very short walk. the hotel is very clean, the rooms are comfortable.

The air conditioning worked very well. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean. The beds were comfortable. Loved the door separating the bedroom from the bathroom and corridor. Very nice hotel. Would definitely come back. Parking on the streets wasn't difficult to find although the hotel offers a parking garage as well. The area appears to be safe and is close to all the attractions.

we were offered a terrible room the first night, no window, but that was taken care the next day when we were moved to a better one. a "good cop, bad cop" kinda' story.
