Safir Doha Hotel    

Excellent service and nice hotel! I would definitely come back to this hotel when returning to Doha.

Even though the checkout time was 01:00 pm, the hotel let me stay till 04:00 pm ,at no extra cost, since my flight was at 06:00 pm. Very thoughtful gesture indeed. Excellent Wi-Fi facility Good room service

Spa was not working I opted for smoking floor, but all floors are non-smoking , which their website doesnt mention.I had to come down to the Lobby every time I wanted to light up. Limited items on the menu for room service

Ok room; ok breakfast (if you are not too demanding). Free Wifi.

Checking in at 8pm hotel took almost 1 hr to prepare my room. I got some fruits and dessert delivered to my room as an apology (I assume), but no "sorry" from the front desk staff. Difficult to get taxi in the morning. I had to use hotel taxi, although more expensive, I was happy with the driver.

The room was nice but well worn especially the bathroom. Not what you see on the interned .

That we waited 45 minutes on arrival for a pick up. On our way out we waited another 40 minutes because a couple with two kids was not ready to leave. I do not like to rush or be late for my flights but your staff would not let the driver take us to the airport. As I said to your staff either let them get another bus or a taxi. The rest of us were ready at 10.30 as we were told. If the other couple wanted to turn up at 11.00 that was their problem, considering I saw the husband in the hotel lounge with a friend until 10,50. Your staff should have taken the passengers that done the right think to the airport at the time we were told the bus would leave.

No tv channels the an A.C. Is hot also the fridge is not cold enough

The hotel was well located and quite close to the airport, the rooms were very clean and well maintained, the staff was very friendly and help full. Over all a good place to stay.

Need to change the breakfast menu more to suite the local taste.

I stop off here every time I'm headed back to the states when traveling thru Doha. Location isn't the best but the price is for me.

I was on an overnight transfer from the airport and so only spent one night in the hotel. The location was ideal for the airport - a short taxi ride away. On arrival the reception staff quickly had us check in and shown to our rooms (we arrived after midnight and this didn't cause any problems). The hotel room was clean and comfortable.

The soap, the lobby appearance

Hotel location is near to popular district, parking is extremely small not suitable for big cars, the room is small, only shower (not a bath), ac is noisy and not efficient, tv has 29 channels complicated for use with explanation on a paper and didn't work as well, food of other guests was left in the corridor for half a day. Swimming pool was dirty, the pool pump is not working, the pool was like a pond. The staff has a problem of communication, they took our cooler to the freezer it took an hour to find it upon check out. The room we got was different from what we booked, it showed superior double room 55% discount, when we checked in they informed us that we simply bought a standard room at a normal rate and the deal was fake (knowing that we came from another hotel with a better offer, rating and with breakfast included)

The reception and the facilities are excellent. Complementary breakfast was excellent.Swimming pool at the roof top is perfect. It is very safe for family stay at Safir.

In room 315, the bath area drainage is placed in wrong direction. Hence water is not drained. You have to call housekeeping many time otherwise water shall flood all the room.

Staff, Toilets.

Considering the fact that I travel alot and work directly with hotels too, all in all it was a good experience. Doha in general is abit too overpriced, so Safir is excused.

The air conditioning was just a very little bit louder than it should, but it fine.

slow check in about 20 Mins to clean a room although i came late from check in time, no jacozy no steam, littel noisy sounds from the A/C fan, small room.

Friendly reception staff and concierge- most helpful and accomodating to every need and question.

Nothing that I did not like

- The location is an excellent - Very nice building design - Good breakfast,,

- Bedroom not wide - Parking is very tight

Such good, friendly, professional, flexible, warm staff! Facilities superb, clean. Child- and family-friendly (we came with three children). Breakfast that left nothing to be desired, it's all there, fresh fruit, German bread, even pancakes with syrup. Convenient, inexpensive airport pick-up and drop-off.

The Hotel is Clean, the staff are nice, very delicious restaurant, calm, comfortable, nice small swimming pool .

Saturday was Ladies only access to the Pool, this was bad and shouldn't be on Saturday where usually couples are staying for the weekend. Men's Jacuzzi is not working.
