Check in was of standard service, the room was nice and clean. It had some nice touches like the bathroom amenities - we loved the size of the rain shower and the robes were good quality. We did not eat in the hotel as it is walking distance (5 minutes) to the City Centre Doha shopping mall so we ate breakfast there: 2nd floor Kudu (?sp.) did fried eggs, toast, pancakes etc. at 15 QR per meal including coffee and juice. The staff were friendly and helpful when asked, we were granted a late check out free of charge. It is a nice hotel for business but I would not class it as a 'luxury' hotel for the price paid but nothing bad about it. The location was great, taxis easily available from the CCD shopping mall. Great that they accept pets.

The pool was being built - they did offer a free transfer to use the facilities at the Sheraton if we wanted the pool - as it was raining for the 2 days we did not require this! The spectacular room did not overlook the sea. The expresso maker in the room did not work very well and on the 2nd day the tea, coffee and milk were not repleneshed. There was no W shop as stated on the hotel signs. This hotel will be better I think in a year or so when it is fully operational.

The quality of the furnishings and design of the hotel room was very good. The restaurants (Spice Market and Market) were comfortable.

Hotel Staff (forgetful and not getting what requested on repetetive basis), Services / facilities (The much talked about pool was closed for construction however we werent advised of this during our booking), Cleanliness of room (Continually had to call to get room cleaned and even when we personally went to front desk requesting it to be cleaned as friends/company were coming, the staff failed to deliver on time (3.5 hr) as requested leaving us with dirty rooms and company waiting out in hallways for housekeeping to clean), comfort (Having to ask over and over to get anything done), value for money (much better value elsewhere), Construction ongoing all around bldg. "W" Doha should change their Motto to "Whatever, Never" ! Poor Service.

room was very well styled, location good for walking to the city centre mall, valet parking an excellent touch

pool was not filled , construcyion noise unfortunate , wahm bar lacked character with booths making the experience a trifle solitary

I liked the staff they were very helpful, during our stay.Even prior to my visit I would like to thank Edwin / Edward , he was very helpful to me in my inital enquiry.

It was advertised about the pool, but when we arrived it had not even been complete in its construction

Staff did try to make amends when I did complain about the issues below but just to many things went wrong. Lack of sleep being the main one. Hotel need to get its act together others will give it miss but I must stress that the staff did try their best and I am gratefull for this.

Hotel stay was ruined by failure of staff to have my booking details. Pool out of comission.Service at breakfast was very poor. Could not sleep due to building work next to hotel (on all night).Hot water in room did not work correctly.

The hotel name says their commitment, w (whatever-whenever), the hotel is really exotic, about 15min from airport, walking distance from City Center shopping center.

Beautiful design, spacious comfortable room, very good bed.

Service could be hit-and-miss sometimes.

The friendliness and courtesy of the staff was excellent, nothing seemed too much trouble, if anything they went out of their way to be helpful.
