Burg Hostel Sighisoara  

Great location, friendly staff, good prices, clean room.

Furniture a bit old and squeaky, rooms were kind of small, bathroom was pretty small, but all in all was a good hostel.

The location is great, up in the citadelle and all the sights of Sighisoara are in easy walking distance. Restaurant/reception area reminded me of a ski chalet with a wood burning fire to heat the area. We had a couple of meals there as the prices were very good (2 of us ate for less then 10USD including drinks). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The room furnishings are simple, no toiletries we provided and we had to ask for towels.

Some of the beds in the dorms are double beds so if the hostel is fully booked you might have to sleep next to someone you don't know. The staff member who checked me in was not particularly friendly or helpful

It has all you need for a short stay. The stuff is friendly and the hostel's location is very good (near tourist attractions). It has a cafe/restaurant at the entrance.

Great location, right in the middle of the citadel, next to a few restaurants and very close to the clock tower. Good restaurant, wi-fi (in the restaurant and, more or less, in our room), pc in the lobby, friendly staff who speak fluent English and German. Big room with a big bath with bathtub. Lots of small furniture pieces in the room, which made our lives easier (shelves, stools, table, armchair etc.). Good heating. The room didn't feel as spartan as common hostels do, which was a pleasant surprise. However, don't expect to find towels, soap or other standard hotel amenities.

The soap holder in the bathroom was dirty and probably unused for a long time - not a big issue though, we had brought our own supplies. Unstable wi-fi connection, may vary with room location (ours was quite far from the router). Not an issue of the hostel, but be wary when strolling through Sighisoara after nightfall - this is not the safest place in the world, especially outside the citadel and small area at the foot of the hill. Keep on the beaten path.

Burg Hostel is situated in the old part of town. We were always in the center of all interesting events.

Good location, good restaurant, possibolity to check in up to midnight

We've booked dowble room and had confirmation by e-mail, but when we came, the guy at the reseption told us that he does not know anything about our reservation and they only have twin. The room was dirty, with stinky toilet, one of the beds was broken.

Ideal location in the middle of old town. Nice architecture of the hotel.

Quite cold and not so friendly staff serving in the restaurant. Weak and unstable wi-fi conncection.

The lady that was working on reception Tuesday night and Wednesday was really helpful and friendly. The room was big too :)

In ceea ce priveste serviciile oferite si meniul pot spune ca au fost destul de bune, personalul este foarte amabil, ambientul este foarte placut, mai ales barul iar in ceea ce priveste distanta fata de punctele de atractie istorice, hotelul este chiar in centrul acestora.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, fast herzlich und zuvorkommend.

La ubicación, (mejor imposible).

No me querían cobrar con tarjera a pesar de que ponía se podía. Tras mucho insistir al final si se podía, pero lo hicieron a regañadientes dado que decían que no funcionaba bien y que sacara del banco, lo que me pareció muy mal. De la habitación me dejaron una minucia de papel de baño enroscado, como para mear 3 veces y no más, no tenía ni cartón.

no encontraron nuestra reserva,nos ofrecieron otra habitación nada que ver con lo reservado,incomoda,muy ruidosa,al lado del comedor,cortinas rotas,sin calefacción,el baño daba a un almacén!!! Uno de nosotros durmió en un plegatín!!!!

Très bien placé géographiquement, dans la citadelle. L'endroit est chaleureux, car tout en bois. On peut y manger correctement pour pas très cher, des spécialités.

La majeure partie du personnel est froide, fort peu accueillante. Néanmoins toujours polie. On n'y vient pas pour l'accueil, ni pour la bonne humeur.

Bardzo brudna toaleta I pokój. Strasznie głośno.

La ubicación es perfecta al lado de la plaza central y el precio es barato.

La habitacion tenia mucha humedad en pleno septiembre y hacia frio, todo muy antiguo y la peste a humedad erra horrible, pero por veinte euros no puedes pedir mas!

Excelente ubicación,no tiene parking pero se aparca muy fácil cerca del hotel ( 2 minutos andando ) Las habitaciones y los baños son viejos pero bueno por ese precio...

Freundlichkeit des Personals; gutes Essen, tolle Lage

Frühstück war etwas einfach

Die Lage ist toll ein das Essen ist klasse. Sehr schön ist das das Hostel einen eingene geschützten Sitzbereich auch draussen anbietet. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett.

Für grosse Menschen ist es bei den Z.T. niedrigen Decken schwierig sich nicht den Kopf anzustossen. Aber man gewöhnt isch dran.

Possibilité de loger dans de très grandes chambres contenant jusqu'a 6 lits, effet colonie de vacances garanti, chambre facturée uniquement au nombre de lits utilisés. Restauration typique. Situation ultra-centrale dans la citadelle.
