The staff and hosts are simply wonderful, very kind, responsive and accommodating. The breakfast, included in the booking price, is simply delicious (and big!). You can order any meal, not just the included breakfast - all meals were delicious. You can buy traditional, local made products (jams, syrups, ...) - which in my case made for a very nice selection of gifts. The location is simply wonderful, and is also close to other typical tourist places (short drive from Belis, for example). Rooms are warm and cosy and extremely clean. Excellent views with the surrounding forests. And let's not forget the small army of really really cute cats :)

What a beautiful place!
What a beautiful place! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment in this amazing cabin. It was such a peaceful place to rest, away form the busyness of normal life. Great job on making the environment both attractive and comfortable! The Cabin is well decorated, very welcoming, clean, provided of fulll kitchen equipments. We would definitely come back! Thank you for the incredible stay! Highly recommended;)

Great location with lake views. Amazing potential for the area. No easy access to the take, many private villas, some quite opulent and not fitting the area style / not build using the traditional style, are blocking lake access in most places, many private roads, big dogs roaming around. No hiking or biking trails, no kayaking service. A crumbling resort from the 90s waiting for a buyer... A wonderful nature with a lot of wasted potential, typical post-Communist Romania situation. Maybe in 100-200 years it will be better...

Needed a hire car to get around.
Needed a hire car to get around. Lovely walking, but actually had to drive into the park to get to any marked routes. No tourist centers to pick up walking route map to get an idea of which routes are which length or to be able to plan . Plenty of restaurants. We enjoyed good food at both a tourist restaurant and a 'locals' one booked for us by the pension owner. Had great fun on the pedalo on the lake too!

There is no bicycle renting, you can not find hiking rout, you can see a sign for rout somewhere, but you don't know where is start, end, rounding? One good restaurant'La buniku' in Belis, and Popasul in Marisel(15km). Good food, good prices!

Belis is a small quite village located in the top of the Apuseni Mts. The access roads are in good condition. Hotels and pensions exhibit good conditions and excellent staff. Very good food (and drinks!). Almost wild nature, with clear air and waters. Even in the weekend, when it is intensively visited, large spaces are still preserved. The lake is located nearby and lot of visitors bring their boats. It was a real cure of silence and pure air.

Location is 10 mis by car from Belis lake, few meters from a forest. The house is big, clean and comfortable. The 3 rooms upstairs are big and beds are great. Exactly as described. Outdoor facilities include many games for kids and for adults, bbq, fireplace and a lot of green grass. Indoor facilities include all needed for a comfortable living for a short or a long stay. Silence and Nature are all around this place- We even saw horses and cows walking around the house. Nearby there is supermarket.

Although from a different era, the hotel is well positioned and our room was clean and large. We had a place to park our car and a balcony with a side view to Belis Lake. The hotel's restaurant was just across the street and only catered to hotel guests. The restaurant staff seemed stuck in time as well, but overall the service was OK. Nice gazebo for guests in the courtyard. If you're tahere to enjoy Belis Lake then it's the perfect place. We went to the nearby ski slope and hiked through the forest.

It was as described by host & reviewed by other guests. Clean, fair & comfortable. The host is providing a very good value for money & it's hospitable as well - afinata & coffee from the house; well, it was great. The provided towels was 3* hotel. Even if the kitchen is not open, there is a market few steps away and we had access to prepare a breakfast, which was great.

Breakfast choice was fab, with excelent coffe, served next to the lake, amazing! Room was big, quite, very warm, and clean. The area on 1200 mters above the sea level next to the Belis lake is just amazing. The qorth of staying in this hoel is waking up to this secluded an untouch nature.
