Nice staff, good food, clean and profesional.

The rooms were on the 4th floor, without elevator...

Lovely old house very nicely renovated in the heart of Brasov, close to Cetate, nice views, bright rooms, modern bathrooms.

Absolutely no notion of customer service from the waiting staff. Poor breakfast. Limited parking space.

It is really very good designed and the details are arranged carefully. I like the design of the rooms and hygiene. It is also very close to the city center.

In bathroom there is no bath cabin and the bathroom can be wet..

Very friendly staff. The man at reception was a great help dealing with our broken down rental car. Our room was excellent, great view looking out over town and large in size. Hotel in a good location - on a hill looking down on town. Takes around 10 mins to walk to the centre - very easy.

Casa Cranta is a wonderful choice if you travel to Brasov. We travelled in a group formed of two families and we booked two apartments. Our rooms (as the most ones in the hotel) had a magnificent view over Brasov. The rooms are really spacious, well designed and clean. The hotel is furnished elegantly, displaying an eclectic collection of antiques and Art Nouveau furniture and ornaments. The staff is very polite and helpful. The location is excellent, just 10min walk from the old town of Brasov . However, if you decide to walk from Casa Cranta into Brasov, be prepared for a little walk up the hill when you are coming back. An alternative option is booking a taxi and taxis are widely available in Brasov and quite cheap.

Without a doubt the staff at this place made it worthwhile. The room is fine and the price and location are great but believe me the staff was the best. Helpful friendly and funny, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting old town Brasov. Food was great too.

This one of the best hotels I have stayed in in Romania. We were welcomed and shown our outstanding rooms which overlooked the rooftops and mountains of Brasov. The rooms were huge with stylish authentic period furniture. The bathroom was also spacious and beautiful with a jacuzzi. The whole place had a peaceful atmosphere with no music playing anywhere - which is very unusual these days. We had a superb meal outside on the terrace, waited on by our very kind host who did everything he could to make sure we had a memorable stay in Brasov. I will go again as soon as I can.

The fanciest hotel I stayed in in Romania. Excellent value, as well. If you are a couple and do not want medicre surroundings, this is excellent value. Superb. They even give you Terrycloth robes....Now how is that? I rate my top hotels using the Robe guide.

The hotel is hard to find, so I had to pay for a taxi. Rip off. Also, the road to the hotel is closed off for construction, so even tho I paid for a taxi, I had to drag my luggage up the hill, which was being torn up. Hotel grounds are also being dug up and repaired. My room overlooked the repairs, so I heard them ticking, ticking all day long.

The staff were extremely helpful..the meals were excellent and the room is about the best I've stayed in .. charming and elegant with a touch of originality and for the price very good value for money.

Difficult to find . maps to the hotel could be more accurate.

Really pleasant atmosphere with helpful staff. thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing visit and very handy for exploring Brasov. Strongly recommended.
