We loved this heritage hotel with all its beams and lovely décor. Excellent staff and restaurant. The old town of Sighisoara is so charming and full of history re Dracula and Vlad the Impaler.
It didn't bother us but it has no elevator.
Excellent location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, very beautiful room. Excellent gourmet restaurant. You get the benefits of a fancy hotel in a tipical, full of character, Transilvanian house.
Everything was great. The staff - very polite, the location-in the Sighisoara Citadel, with a beautiful view from the room and bathroom window, the interior design. Probably the best place to stay if you plan to visit Sighisoara. Everything was perfectly clean and cozy. Also the wi-fi was very good.
The hotel is a world heritage and provides completely traditional Transylvania living experience.
They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home and nothing was a problem. They even parked our car for us!! The hotel is in a traditional building which we loved with big beams in the celing and our room had a massive lovely bathtub in it but its so clean and up to date. its not run down at all. The breakfast buffet was really good too and they have freshly squeezed orange juice. We had a lovely stay and if i was to go back i would stay here again without a doubt.
Everything was great!
Perfect Location Great Price / excellent quality Delicios breakfast Kind & Nice staff. Excellent decorated rooms
Rooms are not so large, but enough Near to church, 6 o'clock on morning you can hear the curch's bell
Simply put...everything. I was injured a week before our vacation and couldn't use one of my legs. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The gave a beautiful room on the first floor at no extra charge and offered to taxi us around the sites. This hotel has a fantastic staff and is a "must stay" given the price and location.
Location, comfort, service, breakfast. All in all 10/10
My husband and I visited this lovely boutique hotel during our wedding anniversary tour of Romania. We did not choose a premium room so admittedly room 7 was a bit on the small side nevertheless full of character. We loved the wooden beams and slanting ceiling. Excellent service, from the minute we arrived. They took all our luggage and led us to our room where a bottle of champagne welcomed us. Once settled in a cheese platter was added to complete the compliment. We had dinner on both days at the restaurant where we found the food to be very good (lovely rustic omelette for breakfast), the service always with a smile and one particular waiter enjoyed the phrase "with pleasure". Indeed it was a pleasure for us to be there. The location is perfect unless church bells annoy you! The decor is beautiful and warm. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Indeed it well compliments the citadel.
I liked very much the restoration and how they handled a monument. And the food was incredible. I cannot wait to come back!
location, in the middle of the historical center
the church bell, ringing at 6.00 am
Historical property, nicely decorated, individually designed rooms. Within steps of central square, walking distance from all sights
Parking is in public area downhill. Staff drives you up and down, but still more complex than just parking at the door.
The staff was so helpful and friendly and the historic house had a very own charm and atmosphere. The terrace of the hotel was great and the location was perfect, right in the old citadel. Would come back!
I recommend that anyone traveling to Sighisoara stay at this hotel. Absolutely every aspect was fabulous. The staff are the most friendly and helpful people. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and taken care of and were even able to check into our room early. The hotel restaurant in the best in Sighisoara and our meal was superb - one of the best we had in 24 days of traveling in Eastern Europe. Our room was lovely and had beautiful wooden beams on the ceiling, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfect and cooled the room to a comfortable tempature. The bathroom was spotless and the bathtub was huge and deep - I even treated myself to a nice long soak with bubbles...great for a tired body mid-way through the holiday! Stay at Casa Georgius Krauss - you will not want to leave.
Nothing - our stay was perfect.
Friendly staff. Very good food. Beautiful room, very clean and comfortable bed!
Great staff, so helpful and attentive Decent restaurant Great position Lovely old house
Parking in public car park 1 km away Room a little soulless
Quite frankly everything! Mediaeval rooms with modern technology. Very attentive staff, excellent food and wine, nothing more to want!!!!
great location for solo travelers our without kids, excellent staff, excellent breakfast
the room was a bit too small for a 4 star hotel
Excellent location and staff is very kind
Low shower water pressure No fresh orange juice for breakfast
This was a fabulous hotel in a great location. It was really comfortable and the food in the restaurant was great too. Stay here!
Lovely bedroom Great staff Excellent food Great location
Staying in the fresco room was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Completely satisfied. No complaints.
It was wonderful to enter our air-conditioned room as it was a hot day. Our room was a bit dark but it was very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner wasn't as good as I had expected it to be. Breakfast of egg, ham and cheese was served in a tall glass, which tasted very good but there wasn't much of it and the 3 slices of toast served with it were very small.
All items on the breakfast menu were listed with their weight beside the price. This gave an impression of stinginess. Useful I suppose if you're on a strict calorie controlled diet.
Both myself and my partner agreed that the room with the frescos must be the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in. The hotel was excellent; the food was fantastic and we had dinner there both nights. 5 star service
