The hotel has a very special atmosphere as you will be accommodated in a historic setting, in a building that dates back to 1477, decorated with locally crafted furnishings and antique artwork. All the rooms have been renovated and refurbished to preserve the past, while providing every modern amenity. The location couldn't be better, we walked everywhere. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was great too and went out of their way to make our vacation the best. Thank you!

The rug on the floor was so dusty that it appeared not to have been vacuumed in years, as was the area under the bed. The towels were small & shabby (one even had a large hole in it). Apart from that the hotel was otherwise ok.

The room was really nice and spacious, very quiet, warm and cozy. I loved the decorations! Good breakfast, plenty to choose from, even for vegetarians. The receptionist that checked us in was really friendly and helpful. The room was not cleaned properly according to my standards. There was a lot of hair on the rug by the bed for example. The bathroom was really clean though.

Excellent city centre location. Fabulous staff. Excellent rooms. Fabulous breakfast! Out initial room allocation was a bit problematic - the shower room smelled ! We advised the staff and were given another, excellent room.

It was at the historical center of the town, very warm, comfortable for its price, very good bathroom, friendly and cosy. Because of some works it was a litle bit noisy for many resting hours.

Staff was extremely helpful from checkin to the time we left. The breakfast was very good and the staff was working the whole time to ensure that it was full and had fresh items. 3 things. 1) The hotel has no parking and I didn't find this out until I had already booked. I ended up putting my vehicle in a pay lot about a 10 minute walk up the road, then moving it to street parking after business hours. 2) We arrived at 1430 and according to the web site, checkin starts at 1400. We couldn't get our room until 1530 so we went and got lunch. It would have been nice to have been able to freshen up after a long car trip. 3) The breakfast area seating is really tight. I literally had someone over each shoulder - nice people but this makes getting up for seconds on coffee a bit of a chore.

The hotel is in a perfect location, right in the main square of Brasov, and in walking distance to most of the touristic attractions. The rooms have beautiful old-style design and furniture, which makes this place different from a standard hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, there was free wi-fi and also a good selection for breakfast. We would definitely come back to this hotel if we visit Brasov again. There was no wardrobe in our room, only some coat hangers. This didn't bother us too much since we were only staying for one night, but for a longer stay this might become an issue.

Staff were nice and the location on the main square was great I would definately stay here again (as long as the renovations to the courtyard were complete). They were doing renovations in the courtyard and the workmen started making noise quite early.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the black church and old town square. Room very well furnished with luxury bathroom. Full Breakfast served till 11am, and we were able to take a guided tour to Bran Castle with Valey one of our excellent hosts.

Staff were helpful arranging a day tour. Breakfast was excellent. Nice large rooms.We had a nice business double which was large, comfortable and nicely furnished. Don't expect a view of anything. Other rooms may have them but ours did not. They need to work on the sewage smell coming out of the drain pipes. We covered the drain with towels to keep the smell down. Wi-fi needs to be strengthened so you can use it in the rooms - not just the common area.

It is ideally situate on the main square in the Old City. Everything is in walking distance and there are plenty of bars/restaurants surrounding the hotel. The breakfast is simple but delicious an has everything you need plus even some free water bottles for your venture out later. Staff speak very good English and will assist you with calling taxis etc. There is no wi-fi reception in some of the rooms, but you can sit in the hall on comfortable chairs an use this. So all in all not a big deal.
