Located in the heart of Transylvania, Sovata Hotel is only 550 yards from the helio-thermal Lake Bear, featuring salty water. It offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and a breakfast buffet. All bright rooms with private bathrooms provide a balcony, satellite TV and a minibar. Some rooms are air-conditioned. Non-smoking, allergy-friendly and wheelchair accessible rooms are available as well. Guests of the Danubius Health Spa Resort Sovata can benefit of the saunas, the indoor swimming pool and the steam bath free of charge. The hotel also features a wide range of medical treatments. Lake Bear (Lacu Ursu), the only helio-thermal lake on the continent, heats up to 122 F° due to sun energy absorbed through the upper, fresh-water layers. I liked the ambiance, the restaurant, the spa facilities the worst thing is that for the 2nd time in a 4 star hotel i go into a room and find the hygienic wrap around the toilet indicating it has been cleaned and disinfected. but in reality, it was not. also the room was not clean. im sure who did the job barely cleaned the toilet. there was no soap! nad there was none supplied during our stay. Also, there was one elevator working and it was verrrrry slow. so we were using the stairs which, by the way, were not lit in the evening and we were going up in darkness!

This hotel offers unlimited free entrance to the salt 'bear lake' in front of the hotel as well as the spa pools and saunas within the hotel. The lake view was wonderful. The staff was not very friendly and the breakfast provided enough options but the food was not conform the western standards. The shower was broken and no fan was in the room.

Nice relax & spa facilities. Quiet and clean. Excellent food, a lot of local specialties in the menu. Friendly people. Very satisfied with the overall experience. The indoor pools are rather small, definitely not for good swimming. They can become rather crowded during weekends when the hotel is full. But if you only come to relax and if you can avoid the crowds, then it is really a perfect place to stay.

I liked the spa facilities. Good sauna, swimming pools and others I didn't like the food (only fat food and not too much to choose from the menu, for a 4* restaurant/hotel) and the furniture in the room and bathroom is broken, the door can be closed only slammed, no slippers available for spa facilities, not even for buying. Not a 4* quality

centrul SPA, recent renovat, excelent, mic dejun OK, pozitionare superba, lacul Ursu am primit o camera mirosind intens a fum de tigara, cu toate ca in rezervare solicitasem o camera de nefumatori; cu toate ca pe hol este un semn cu fumatul interzis, prezenta in camera a unei scrumiere dotata si cu chibrite, nu prea lasa loc de interpretari...

aproape de lac, curat, centrul spa excelent de bine dotat. Pe partea din spate a hotelului nu exista aer conditionat. De asemenea sunt doar doua lifturi iar unul nu functiona. Asreptam si 10 minute sa prind liftul. Parcarea este destul de mica.

La situación al lado del lago Había varios elementos del Spa que no funcionaban, con lo cual básicamente se limitaba la sesión de Spa a estar en las piscinas. Una revisión de las instalaciones no vendría nada mal.

Különleges vízminőségü fürdő, a környék természeti szépsége, magyar nyelvű kommunikálás lehetősége A parkolási rendszer nem szabályozott annak ellenére hogy a szálló részére a megfelelő férőhely adott parkolni csak szerencsével lehet. Beléptető rendszer kiépítése nagyban fokozná a biztonságos parkolási lehetőséget melyet ajánlatukban is hirdetnek

A szálloda medencéi kiváló kikapcsolódási lehetőséget biztosítanak. A szálloda kevés parkolóhellyel rendelkezik, 2 lift nem elég egy ilyen befogadóképességű szállodában. Az étteremben kissé ízetlenül/fűszertelenül főznek.

A csodálatos helyen lévő elhelyezkedése. Pazar panoráma a Medve tóra. Tisztaság, kedves személyzet. Bőséges büfé reggeli, hatalmas választékkal. A nyári melegben talán a klíma még szükséges volna a teljes komfort érzethez.
