El Greco Hotel  

The location is great, a few steps to metro at the University. The hotel is price-wise well equipped, a very good choice if you don't to spend too much money for a decent room. Also the cafe / restaurant is nice to sit down a bit.

The airport shuttle service was a regular taxi but of the expensive one. If they offer this service (3,50 Lei/km instead of 1,39!!), they should either send an own employee or work with the normal taxi companies. Really have the feeling to be cheated and that they receive comission on forwarding business. Even requesting a confirmation that somebody is picking me up was ignored and I had to call and remember.

Slow service

Very nice traditional building with interesting decoration. Very clean. Excellent location at the center of Bucharest. Helpful staff. Free wired and wireless internet at the room. Free parking space. Small garden with trees. Cat at the front door :)

Friendly staff, Central location, good restaurant right outside the door.

The breakfast is a bit expensive, especially given the cheap food everywhere else in the city.

Good location but hard to find.

The actual address does not match the location on booking.com's map. The restaurant attached to the hotel serves very small portions which doesn't match the relative high price. Food is not value for money.

Nice rooms with excelent location to the city center where you have all historics sites and nightlive.

They should have shampoo and moistering body lotion in the bathrooms.

Zentrale und doch ganz ruhige Lage, Stil und Architektur, kostenfreies Parken, Geräumigkeit und der Zimmer, Gemütlichkeit der Hausbar, sowie die großzügige Außengastronomie sprechen für das Hotel. Auch das Personal ist überwiegend freundlich und hilfsbereit.

In einem kleinen Glaskasten im eg gegenüber dem Lift werden seit Jahren Schildkröten gehalten, oder besser gesagt, gequält. Ganz schlimm. Die Tiere wachsen ja auch noch. Da müßte dringend etwas geändert werden. Beim letzten Aufenthalt, im Mai 2012, gab es trotz Kälteeinbruchs nur lauwarmes Wasser im Bad, um besser zu frieren. Je schöner und wärmer das Wetter, um so lauter die Beschallung von Außenbar und -restaurant, eine normale Unterhaltung ist kaum möglich. Allerdings ist die Lautstärke der Musik in Speiselokalen ein weitverbreitetes übel im ganzen Land.

God personlig service. Ca 20 rom, man blir kjent med andre gjester. Bra bar med god mat til hyggelig pris

Posizione, rapporto qualità/prezzo, Parcheggio, disponibiltà staff.

Fumare permesso, anche lo staff fuma (estremamente negativo per I non fumatori come noi).

Die zentrale Lage und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis sind absolute Pluspunkte des El Greco, ebenso die Freundlichkeit des Personals.

Die surrende Klimaanlage war in der ersten Nacht gewöhnungsbedürftig. Bettüberdecke und Laken waren teils fleckig, aber letztlich war es okay.
