the people, the stuff, the athmospire, the kindness
If you arrive late for breakfast you may not find items are replenished (better have breakfast brought up to your room for a small fee). Some of the breakfast service was a little slow, but no worse than anywhere in Europe.
comfort boutique size and style services and friendliness of personnel food position in the city
couldn't use the swimming pool as the water and room temperature was too cold all three days; didn't improve even after informing the reception repeatedly
lovely champagne welcome and complimentary upgrade when we checked in! Beautiful hotel and really enjoyed the spa too. I even had a massage. The staff were extremely helpful and made the stay even better.
Rooms and staff
Location. It's a beautiful hotel!
I hated that I got settled in my room and had to downgrade to a smaller suite the next day because of a "piping problem"!
Heating too high
The facilities, the bar the room
Wifi is not always working well plus is disconnects time to time
Staff Room Bed Cleanliness
This hotel has everything good and perfect for what should be a 5 star hotel. Very confortable, very clean and the stuff is superb so nicelly and friendly you cant imagine!! the bedrooms are in fact suites very well equipped and the bathrooms are just wooow!!! simply perfect. I really love this hotel and I'm sure if you stay here you will have the same oppinion as mine!!
The only concert I should appoint to this hotel is the breakfast - was poor for a 5 star hotel. I shall recomend a much more variety of food and increase bread quantity and add croissants to the menu!!
Intimate, elegant, classy .. Good food..nice rooms ..
Wifi was of a bad quality .. only worked in the bedroom and not in the living room where I actually put the computer ...
Beautiful hotel and room Very good service from the stuff Great breakfast
The cappuccino probably made from a machine..
very good and fast internet / has even cable internet very nice fitness/spa area
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel well-treated, pampered by the stuff and the services offered (I must mention the SPA). It's position is excellent, right in the center of Bucharest, but at the same time in a very quiet place, with no noise.
I have stayed in several hotels in Bucharest. Epoque is by far the best service that I have had. A bit off the beaten path, but perfect for quiet nights close to the city center. Extremely clean. Food was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Nice touch to receive champagne at check-in. Reception staff was very willing to help with any questions we had. Overall a perfect experience for relaxing on a weekend in Bucharest.
Spa was small and overpriced.
Have stayed previously but this time took our youngest daughter. She loved. Each time we have stayed we have been upgraded. The dinner we had there was of high quality. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel is well situated for visiting the sites.
There is nothing not to like
Every single staff member was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The spa was lovely to spend half a day at, a great breakfast selection and really nice hotel well thought out and designed.
The room was a little hot at night but that is easily fixed. The location did not bother me at all however it is not centralised, it is a 10 min walk to the old town.
friendly and alert personnel
sometimes music in restaurant too loud
When i walked in the door, before ever getting to the reception desk, they greeted my by name and brought complimentary champagne. It was my first experience of Bucharest and Romania and it was off to a fabulous start. The breakfast was wonderful, the beds extremely comfortable (great pillows, comforters). The big shower was awesome and the even bigger soaking tub made for a great way to relax.
Stayed a couple of times now. Always terrific. Beautiful building, great food and lovely staff
The staff were very helpful and polite. Booked 2 suites which had balconies worth the extra . Had 2 evening meals at the hotel which were excellent . We would book this hotel again as had a fantastic stay.
My only criticism was that on our first night although we booked suites , the suite was on the corner of the building with small windows and therefore it was dark inside however when we complained we were given a suite with a balcony overlooking the front straight away. If you book ask for rooms overlooking the front
Hotel facilities were fantastic, breakfast was lovely
The sofa bed in the room was only for for a child , an adult would have felt the metal frame as the mattress was only an inch thick. Also no duvet provided on the sofa bed only a sheet.
The only suggestion is to change the towels and the robes , very hard because of so many washings. In rest was everything simply amazing. For this hotel I'll go back to Bucharest !!!
Personal attitude towards clients, great rooms and delicious breakfast.
Just excellent. Quiet, cozy, nice rooms, spa facilities, parking, location, friendly staff, tasty breakfast! Simply great!
