Hotel Esplanada  

We thought it absolutely superb. Very nice food in the restaurant with outside tables overlooking the harbour and very inexpensive for what it is. Large very comfortable rooms. Very conveniently located, especially if arriving after dark on the train with luggage.

Difficult to reach by car, signs non existent

A very clean, spacious and comfortable room. Very good service at reception. A very clean hotel with excellent views of the delta. I would be happy to use this hotel again. I missed not having a swimming pool.

I expected better breakfast facilities in a 4 star hotel. Although the Trattoria food was very good, I was disappointed to see a male staff member, behind the counter dealing with food, blatently chain smoking.

The room was spacious and the huge windows looked out over the Delta and port. The receptionists were very helpful.

It wasn't really the level of luxury we experienced in other 4 star hotels on the trip but was adequate. The breakfast was dire and when we went down one morning 40 minutes before breakfast ended there was virtually nothing left and the staff were making no attempt to replenish anything.

We stayed there over a weekend late May, and really could not fault the hotel. The location was perfect, right on the banks of the Danube delta, our room, 614, on the 6th floor was a corner one, and enormous, with lovely views across the river. The breakfast had a good choice and the luch & dinner menu was excellent, with good food and good value. We spent Saturday evening in the terrace bar/lounge for drinks with some friends, and even a boat-load of German tourists in the adjacent bar watching the EUFA Cup Final did not detract from a very enjoyable evening. (Bayern Munich lost by the way!) I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.

If I had to find fault, it would be that the pillows were not soft enough for my liking

The hotel has a fantastic location, close to the bus station but also the port, it's also easy to get into town or go for a walk along the river. The hotel was smart inside and our room was fantastic with an amazing view. It was very spacious and comfortable. The food was some of the best I had in Romania and the staff very friendly. I would be very happy to stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

There was nothing I did not like. But if I was being picky I would say it was too warm.

Mooi hotel, langs het water van de Donau. Prettig meewerkend personeel. Goed eten. Goede hulp bij het zoeken naar een trip door de Donaudelta.

Situation de l'hotel face au Danube et à quelques metres de l'embarcadere,possibilité de laisser la voiture en payant à la journée sur le parking de l'hotel pendant l'excursion d'un jour ou deux sur le delta

Impersonnel ;accueil peu chaleureux et restaurant uniquement conçu pour les groupes avec d'immenses tables et des serveurs peu concernes,une carte avec peu de poisson et pas tres bons!hotel à ne pas conseiller pour les voyages en individuel

Hotel situato sul fiume bellissima vista panoramica con punto di partenza per visitare il Delta del Danumio, camere grandi, letti comodissimi, ottima colazione a buffet, ottimo ristorante, personale gentile, eccellente struttura! Merita il soggiorno!

Per i non fumatori può dare fastidio l'odore di sigarette dato che nell'albergo non è vietato fumare. L'albergo organizza escursioni sul Delta del Danubio a prezzi maggiori rispetto ai prezzi che trovi di fronte, alla piazza dell'albergo.

Tuvimos que solicitar un cambio de habitacion ya cerca de medianoche, puesto que habia 2 celebraciones de boda al mismo tiempo, una en el 6 piso y otra en el primero. No habia manera de poder relajarse y dormir. Deberian de tener este factor en cuenta a la hora de asignar habitaciones. Factor de estres y de insatisfaccion, a pesar de que nuestra estancia fue positiva en los otros aspectos. Pero dormimos poco y mal, y eso influye muchisimo. Escojimos ese establecimiento para estar seguros de unos ciertos estandares... y al final, apenas dormimos.

Gute Lage - großräumige Zimmer

Zu wenig info über serviceleistungen - Ausflüge etc. - man hatte das gefühl es wird einem nur ausflüge angeboten, die vom Hotel bevorzugt werden - auf individuelle anfragen wurde nicht eingegangen... Die Badewanne in Zimmer 412 ist verkehrt eingebaut :-)

su ubicacion en pleno puerto, el personal del hotel, la tramquilidad, el entorno es fabuloso desde tu habitacion estas viendo el Danubio.

Das Zimmer mir einem wahnsinns Ausblick direkt am Ufer der Donau, das Abernessen im Restaurant war toll und die Mitarbeiter wirklich toll.

Leider kann das Frühstück nicht mithalten. Da wäre es sinnvoll eine Buchung ohne Frühstück zu machen, das dieses Frühstück sicht nicht lohnt. Ansonsten top!

レセプションスタッフが親切丁寧に対応してくれ大変有り難かった。 部屋が広くリバービューで景色も大変良かった。 レストランも広く清潔であり満足した。テラスもありそこでコーヒーを飲みながらノンビリとドナウを見ながら- 至福の一時が過せました。 レセプションスタッフに頼みドナウデルタの観光もする事も出来、有意義な1泊2日が過せました。私達の殆ど- 出来ない英語に対応してくれて感謝申し上げます。
