The Helios is a modern 4-star hotel located in the spa town of Ocna Sibiului in the heart of Transylvania, 15 km from the centre of Sibiu and 12 km from the airport. There is direct access to the main road (DN1) and the railway.

The restaurant occupies a renovated historic building and serves delicious Romanian, Italian and Chinese dishes. There is also an English pub, an outdoor terrace and a rooftop terrace.

The nearby leisure and entertainment centre features a gym, facilities for tennis, table tennis and football, fresh and salt water swimming pools, massages, a sauna, a Turkish bath, a Jacuzzi, billiard, darts, and a disco-bar with a dance floor and an outdoor terrace.

The historic spa town of Ocna Sibiului, also known as “Salzburg”, was thoroughly renovated in recent years and today shines anew in its 19th-century splendour. The salted water from its lakes is well known for its healing and therapeutic qualities.

The spa complex also has a modern conference centre.
