Hotel Confort Otopeni

I liked the atmosphere - pleasant, silent, relaxing.

I reserved the rooms on my name, but for an American family. When they arrived at the hotel (from Tulcea) they were told there was no reservation on my name for them, but they were offered two rooms. I called the receptionist and he said he couldn't find my name in the computer, he found Petru Stoica but not Petru Solca. I was afraid I will have to pay for the two reservations. In the end he solved the problem. All's well that ends well...

Proximity to the airport

the hotel located close to the airport but when you should go with suitcases there I wouldn't recomend it

the non smoker rooms smells badly

We asked for a non-smoking room, but the smell of tabacca in the room was overwhelming!

Large room; quiet; good shower; transfer to airport in morning

Transfers from the airport must be reserved in advance; you cannot call from the airport.

Hard smell after smoking including sheets for sleeping.

We booked a junior suite and it was huge.

It's not a really fancy hotel however value for money is good.

On the site was written that the hotel has a shutle free bus to transfer between airport and hotel. When I booked, I indicated the flight number an the arrival hour. Well, nobody was there. I called at reception desk and they said "We are sorry, we haven't any available car. Take a taxi!!" My advise: to erase that information from webpage or to guarantee the transfer.
