Iaki Hotel  

Presence of a spa is definitely a big plus. The view of the sea is breathtaking.

Breakfast were rather poor, the rooms (and bathroom) are at 3 stars (but 4 stars priced). No wireless internet (only wired) so if you have a macbook air you need to have an utp adapter. The wind was whistling through all the windows and closed doors. Only one elevator wich is always busy.

All great, except the internet connection in the room.

No wireless in the rooms, only cable internet access. Not convenient at all for tablet or smartphone users.

friendly staff and very helpful! i had a small problem with the internet connection and someone came after 5 or 10 min and solved it. they also gave me tips on how to avoid this kind of situations. the spa center is excellent and gives you a lot of great services, inside pool, jacuzzi, massage. i had 2 massages .. speachless.. very relaxing. the view is amazing. i had a double room on the sea side. i even had a wake up call to see the sunrise :)

uhhhmm ... there was nothing specifically ... oh .. the prices of the sweets from the minibar are kind of high .. so i didn't consume any :D

The location is absolutely perfect and the hotel does its job. Staff are warm and welcoming and provided all the information we needed when asked. Bed was comfy, lots of space to walk around, big screen tv, nice bathroom, great shower, and offerred a safe. Good breakfast and a great modern Spa Center.

Good location, good service, and great value for money!

Breakfast was very good, with a wide range of food. Room service food provided large portions. Location is excellent, just 20 metres from the beach front.

Booked a double room with a sea view, was given a twin room with a restricted view of the sea. The room was not clean when we arrived, finger marks over the wall, marked bedside lamp shade and stained bed sheets. TV was tiny. Fridge / mini bar charged EUR 10 per day to store goods. Room service food took an hour despite only ordering a salad and a sandwich. No tennis court despite advertised as available Not value for money and room quality is not the 4 star quality the hotel has.

Pool, close to sea, clean.

Waiters are rather slow and sometimes not available at all. Out of stock for ice cream!

Staff was nice and very helpful. The check in/out took less than 5 min and got the rooms way before 4 pm. The maids were fast and efficient. The restaurant staff was quick and discrete. The included breakfast had sufficient variety. I liked the swimming pool area, especially the kiddie’s pool. Also, the playground is quite useful for small kids. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms are spacious and modern enough. I really liked the view to the lake and the balcony. I also liked the currency exchange desk on site, the rate was fair. Free lounge chairs at the beach are nice.

The carpet everywhere is stained and needs replacement. I’ve booked 2 rooms and expected them to be closed, but got them in different wings, with separate elevators that were a pain, since the elevators are quite slow and very small. The rooms are too small for 4 stars, no seating area and the furniture is pretty basic. The lights control panel was broken at the entrance, so had to navigate through dark to the night stand control panel. The safe is tiny, cannot fit a notebook in it, so if you have a laptop, tough luck. The shower cabin is claustrophobic tiny. There is no decaf coffee at breakfast and no eggs on demand station either. Restaurant and bar prices are quite high, and the food is nothing special, although the service is nice. The private beach could do with some serious cleaning, cigarettes buds everywhere and some other garbage too.

The beach is very dirty ! They should clean it! I know that Iaki Hotel don't administrate it, but it is a negative review for them because their clients are using it .

The staff could not have been friendlier. My group all felt like they would do whatever they could to make us comfortable. On par with some of the best places I've ever stayed. On top of that all of the ameneties were top-notch and best in Mamaia.

The cleaning service should make another (later round) of room cleaning for those that wake up on the later side.

Comfort, clean rooms, good looking

- Reception persons boring - air conditioning work after 3 hours - breakfast - poor - spa center very expensive - i make a reservation on booking to 290 lei and when i want to pay at receptions they want me to pay 610 lei , after i wait 20 minutes the problem resolved, anyway was an embarassing situation

Again they took my money from my debit card and I payed at the reception also, now I need to go to the bank and get my money back. I'll never come to this hotel again, it's horrible and I will not recommend it to no one.

expensive services and minibar; they charge you 10 EUR / day if you use the fridge for keeping your own food / beverages (first time I saw this in a hotel)

Bunul gust si serviciile impecabile ne fac sa ne reintoarcem in fiecare an in acest loc minunat , in care ne relaxam cu adevarat.

Самый красивый отель на Мамая, с приветливым персоналом. Номер был большим и светлым. Завтрак устроил всех, в очень приятной атмосфере и хорошим предложением продуктов. Бассейн большой и удобный и для детей и для взрослых. Близость к набережной и морю - 50 м. Рядом с отелем на набережной находится очень стильный ресторан с хорошей кухней.

Teapa de la mare in toate sensurile: unii ospatari au atitudinea superioara de staruri de cinema. Nu prea indraznesti sa ii deranjezi. FALSA descriere a hotelului pe Booking in sensul ca anunta ca are centru SPA dar abia dupa ce am facut rezervarea si banii au fost extrasi din cont anunta ca SPA-ul nu este functional. Micul dejun se repeta sistematic in fiecare zi fara pic de diversificare. Camere sunt uzate si patate. Peste tot in hotel umbla mini -fotbalisti in chiloti de colo-colo fara sa tina cont de limbaj... Parcarea gratuita de fapt nu exista si esti obligat sa o parchezi la sute de m distanta.

Nu exista ceva sa nu iti placa la acest hotel...camerele impecabile, personalul extrem de amabil, gradina superba a restaurantului, piscina, excelenta amplasare fac din hotelul Iaki locul nostru preferat din Mamaia!

Esti primit cu caldura, iar personalul este bine pregatit pentru a rezolva orice problema...in afara de faptul ca se permite stationarea masinilor de lux in fata scarilor la intrare (efectiv treci prin ele)...in rest totul a fost excelent...micul dejun si pranzul servit tip bufet a fost foarte incarcat si gustos..multe feluri de mancare, mai ales in sezonul de 1 mai si sarbatoarea de Paste...cine iubeste marea si nu acorda o prea mare atentie detaliilor (hotelul are totusi peste 10 ani de cand s-a deschis ) un sejur la Iaki te incarca cu amintiri frumoase si o buna dispozitie pentru a te intoarce la servici cu bateriile incarcate. Faptul ca il poti intalni si pe Hagi printre clienti...fara sa iasa cu nimic in evidenta (cum o fac de obicei oamenii cu bani)...te fac sa te simti ca un invitat in "casa" lui Hagi...relaxare si buna dispozitie sunt cuvintele pe care le am in minte dupa un sejur la Iaki...

Hotelul are peste 10 ani si ar trebui renovat sau imbunatatit in unele locuri...insa nu deranjeaza atat de mult daca pretul ar fi un pic mai mic...camerele sunt mari si spatioase (camera dubla superioara am avut noi)...putine hoteluri se pot "lauda" cu acest lucru...personalul de la piscina ar trebui sa fie mai vigilent si mai atent la nevoile clientilor

Un hotel foarte frumos , camerele spatioase , curatenia exemplara , receptionerii de nota 10 dispusi sa te ajute cu orice problema reusind cu siguranta sa suplineasca si postul de concierge, dotarile hotelului sunt la cele mai inalte standarde .

Lipsa papucilor de unuica folosinta , telefonul care in dormitorul de la apartament lipseste , micul dejun slabut pentru standardele hotelului , personalul de la restaurant interesat poate mai mult de camera in care esti cazat (pentru a verifica lista de mic dejun) de cat obligatoriul buna dimineata .

Amplasarea hotelului, personalul foarte amabil, serviciile la restaurant excelente, inclusiv micul dejun care a fost proaspat, suficient si de buna calitate (au tinut bufetul deschis si personal disponibil uneori si 2ore dupa ora oficiala a inchiderii micului dejun), SPA-ul cu dotari excelente.

Camerele mici, canapeaua extensibila nu este pentru un adult de inaltime si greutate medie, cel mult pentru un copil de gradinita; la etajul 4 era foarte curent si usile se tranteau cu zgomot in permanenta, indiferent de ora; erau turisti care petreceau si se certau la 2 am si nu a intervenit nimeni din personal; parcarea este insuficienta, dar am observat ca tind sa lase locurile de langa intrarea in hotel turistilor, ceea ce este laudabil; curatenia lasa usor de dorit si in camere si la SPA, unde am obervat ca turistilor care nu resepecta regulile SPA-ului li se permite sa se manifeste asa, de unde si curatenia cam precara in jacuzzi, sauna, etc.

Profesionalismul serviciilor,sper ca aceleasi servicii sa se mentina si in perioada estiva,cred ca atunci se poate face un comentariu mai detaliat in ceea ce priveste hotelul si ceea ce tine de serviciile lui aduse clientilor.

Faptul ca nu e renovat recent ( sunt pete pe pereti, mocheta uzata, mobila zgariata ,etc

Hotel prost la un pret foarte mare pentru ce ofera, adica servicii de proasta calitate, camere si mobilier uzat, mocheta rupta, in special pe holuri; personal slab calificat, fara interes, micul dejun trebuia sa inceapa la 7,30 dar la 7,45 nu era nimeni sa serveasca si nu era nimic ce iti puteai lua singur de mancare; cand am incercat sa gasesc pe cineva sa ne serveasca 9mai erau oameni care asteptau), a aparut un chlner foarte suparat ca este deranjat si intr-un final, dupa aproape jumatate de ora a adus ceva de mancare; mancarea de la micul dejun era orcum foarte proasta. Nu recomand acest hotel care desi se vrea elitist, este foarte prost.

Aspectul general al spatiilor comune, aspectul camerei, lipsa grijei pentru detalii (mocheta de pe hol adaugata si nefinalizata)
