Great hotel. Great location. Very helpful staff and a beautiful room. The pool was lovely in August. Rooms decorated with imagination and not generic. Would stay again
stand alone air con in the living room
I made a little tour through romania, and stayed at 4 hotels in the same price range. This one is by far the best. Friendly staff, and very good food. Swimming pool was a nice addition.
The front desk staff was nice.
We kept finding ground up shards of bone in our food, and then we found a sliced fingernail! I'm pretty sure we ate a human finger! Disgusting! They still made us pay for the drinks we had with the dinner---very inappropriate--though we didn't pay for the food. A few days later my mother began hemorrhaging blood from her bowls and had to be hospitalized for eight days. It cost us thousands of dollars. And, the internet didn't work in our room. They didn't tell us that to activate the AC the window needs to be closed, so our room was really hot.
Very friendly personnel Delicious food, especially the breakfast was excellent Central location and within 5minutes reach the city center is close Very good WLA availablilty even at the swimming pool area and in the restaurant
The room was large and clean. Nice breakfast.
The pool was deep min 1,7m, not suitable for small children. Bar staff did not know how to make other drinks than in the menu and it took a long time.
I stayed in 4 hotels during my holiday and this was by far the best ... the pool and bar area were fantastic and relaxing. I'd highly recommend this hotel
The room, the pool.
The restaurant personnel was awful, they didn't know their menu, every order took at least 45 minutes even if it was omelette or just caprese. Aperol spritz had a bad recipe, the sauce served with the fish without any taste. Also, for 4 days nobody entered our room to check if we had all we needed.
Hotel in the city center. Nice breakfast.
Absolutely horrible, bad taste in design of the rooms. First night we have spent in the room with windows facing busy road, and the noice was unbearable. Also air-conditioning was very loud and largely innefective. We complained and have been moved to other room, noice was better but overall experience was bad as well. Bad value for money. We moved to other hotel in the same city (Cavaler) and it was much better choice. Restaurant is not good, and swimming pool at the front of it is useless unless you like being naked at the front of people having their lunch. Hotel is very cramped - there is simply not enugh space for so many amenities. Bar, swimming pool, restaurant and so on - all put together in a very small area. Rooms are very small as well. Not 4 stars hotel for sure, and not worth premium money.
Lovely room and pool. Very nice and welcoming front desk representative
Breakfast could have been more diversified (lacked omelette station, more juices)
Good location. Nice and clean hotel. We really liked the swimming pool and the garden.
The swimming pool . great to have a swim after a hot day sightseeing. Staff very helpful, meals good.
The best hotel to stay in! Beautiful and new rooms, lovely and helpfull staff and good food. The swimming pool area is absolutely amazing! The location is 5 min walk from the citadel. Totally recommend it!
Wify has issues in building C and pool area, but the front desk lady said that it will be sorted out.
Nice big, clean room. Beautiful pool. Relaxing place.
Terrible wi-fi. Very spotty coverage in my room. Even the terrace did not work. Nice waiter on the terrace, but service a little lackluster.
Its a great location and we found it easily. Nice pool if it was warmer.
Clean, large and very nice rooms. Location of the hotel is very good although it is outsie the old city (but only 10mins walk away). Gorgeous pool and bar area, friendly and helpful staff.
No lift, which may be a problem if you have a heavy luggage and need to climb 3rd floor. And just one tip regarding location - the hotel is at very busy road so be sure to book your rooms with a pool view if you don't want to hear the traffic.
Quoting in Euros but expecting payment in ron
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Quick restaurant service.
Customer Service shown by all staff was excellent. Very comfortable rooms. We dined in the restaurant both nights of our stay and the whole experience was first class.
The hotel is quite nice
Dinner was pretty dissapointing! Better go for something in the city.
It was clean and modern, and the staff were very friendly and competent. It was nicely located close to the old city, although it was a climb up the stairs!
It was very close to the highway so a bit noisy, and the restaurant was just OK.
This is a really nice hotel about 10-15 minutes walk downhill from the citadel in Sighisoara and no more than 15 minutes from the train station. Facilities are excellent - there is a pool and very nice surrounding area with bar (too cold for us to make use of it, sadly, but they provided blankets for those wishing to sit outside), as well as restaurant and free WiFi. Rooms are nicely decorated, although not especially large. Ours was on the street side of the hotel with a tiny balcony, but noise was not an issue. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well-equipped (mini-bar, TV, toiletries, etc), with a decent shower. Breakfast is great, and was definitely the best of the 5 places we stayed at in Romania. The buffet had hot (bacon, eggs, sausages) and cold (meats, cheeses, fruit, veg, yogurt) options as well as pastries and fruit. It was also one of the few places in Romania where we found black tea. Would definitely recommend it.
The exorbitant (by Romanian standards) cost of using the computer to access the internet - despite the WiFi being free, it cost 20 lei per hour to go online here (compared with 3-4 lei in an internet cafe). Not the hotel's fault, but due to incorrect maps (including Google), we had some issues finding the hotel, although it should not have been difficult. From the train station, turn right and follow the road past small shops and over a bridge until you reach the Penny supermarket. The hotel is on the junction with the main road (Zaharia Boia, I think), on the left.
Staff were excellent, Hotel was amazing clean and lovely rooms, great breakfast, easy to find if driving and a great location just a short walk from the old town
typical roumanie. Nice staff. Nothing more or less.
It is just the basic. But not bad at all.
