Comfortable, clean . Helpful and friendly staff.

I liked that the location was very central which was ideal for the type of trip we were on and also that we had a balcony but outs was the only room with one. The room was also clean and tidy

The tv didnt work, when we asked for this to be fixed someone came up but hadnt a clue what they were doing, i managed to fix this the next night myself. Often when we went to use the shower there was no hot water and also no door or curtin on shower which ment the bathroom floor ended up very wet and dangerous. On the second day when we left the room my partner left her watch on the bedside table when we returned to the room we found the watch had been stolen the only other person who had acess to our room was the cleaning staff.. While the room was clean the double bed only had two pillows and the blanket was to small to cover the bed. Finaly the room had been booked by a family member as a present on there credit card, even though the hotel had an electronic credit card machine they refused to charge the room to the card mean we had to scrape together the last of our cash to pay the bill leaving us no cash for our journey home to ireland, im sure if we had just left the hotel they would have been able to charge the bill to the credit card number it had been booked with

A very honest offer. Nothing to complain at this price in Cluj downtown. Breakfast is fair, also good internet connection.

We booked and had confirmed on site parking. There is no parking at all. There is only public parking in the busiest part of the city in a complex one way system 100s of cars looking to park. No place to park to unload or load. No lift steps everywhere so if elderly or disabled it is not suitable. The room no shower curtain or bath mat old towels and no hot water told by reception that it was an old hotel and need to let it run for at least thirty minutes. Numerous other problems which the staff and manager did not wish to deal with. "you managed to park forget it and have a nice day" They insisted that the problems were due to Booking.com having misrepresented them which we found was a total lie. Do not go there hopefully it will be removed from the booking.com site.

Friendly and helpful staff. 10 mins from airport. Excellent bar/restaurant attached. Brilliant location for a visit to the lovely City of Cluj.

On the day we stayed there was a very noisy conference until late in the evening - not good if you have a very early flight the next morning.

Is a central position for look the city but in the street is very busy every time....as in the night ...

Great staff, great central location and rooms that are well worth the room rate. I am very pleased with my stay, and will return.

Comfortable room and bath. Central location. Buffet breakfast OK. There is a computer with free internet connection in the lobby.

The central location is in very noisy place and the big windows to the noisy square echoed all the noise. There are no bell boys, no air-condition (it was 33 degrees centigrades = 92 F). To climb to the second floor in an old building, there vere 66 steps, very high rooms instead of normanlly less than 40.

It has an amazing location right across the street from the city's main plaza.

Everything else besides the location. 30 years ago this was probably the place to stay in Cluj, but it doesn't look like anything has been done to improve since. Old rooms, no AC, very noisy (and we live in manhattan), little hot water and generally not a nice place. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

hotel staff offer poor information about parking, visiting, and don't respect the requests made in the reservation like tipe of bed, smoking or non smoking.

Hotel Melody's central location and large signage makes it very easy to locate. It is also within 15 minutes from the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinks were available in the room fridge.

I did not like having two twin beds as a 'double'. I did not like the view over a pigeon infested court. I did not like the smell in the room from the bathroom.

Hotelul Melody este cel la care ne cazam intotdeauna cand venim la Cluj . Este un hotel curat are o arhitectura de epoca - foarte frumoasa in opinia mea - cu un personal amabil . Este hotelul la care ne vom caza si in viitor.

Nu este lift . Nu este izolat fonic.
