I love the citadel and I always go back with excitement.
I love the citadel and I always go back with excitement. Just to walk around, climb up to the church and admire the view, visit the Clock Tower, and hang around in this lovely part of the city is great. A lot of cozy terraces full of good places to eat and have a beer makes me come back every other year.

This is a wonderful city to explore for the history and the great food options. The cobble stone streets, the old fortress, multiple churches, and museums offer many places to explore on foot. The restaurant selection is excellent. We enjoyed every restaurant we visited and felt the food, service, and quality were outstanding.

The old city with its towers (Clock Tower, Tinsmiths' Tower, Butchers' Tower, Tailors' Tower, Furriers' Tower, Ironsmiths' Tower etc), as well as the wooden staircase are something you should not miss. The old city starts at 5 minutes walking distance from Binderbubi Hotel. You can spend there about one-two hours (depending on your schedule) and thereafter you can stop to eat something at one of the restaurants in the area. We opted for Gasthouse Altepost.

Sighişoara is a beautiful city, with old coloured houses, buildings. Very green and clean
Friendly people, not too busy and limited traffic. It has enough to get you by
Turgu Mureş is the place to go for shopping (if that is your thing), and other entertainment such as clubs, cinema etc and is 1hr by bus/maxi taxi
If you like peace, history, walking and exploring or, you just want to get away, then Sighişoara is a good place to visit.

Sighişoara is utterly charming.
Sighişoara is utterly charming. A truly beautiful small town full of bright, colourful, historical architecture. Around every corner is another pretty cobbled lane filled with picture-perfect painted buildings. The crowning glory is its 14th Century Clock Tower.
We visited out of season (early Oct 2023) and it was perfect. Lovely blue skies, warm enough to walk around without a coat during the day but cool in the evenings. At night we'd wrap up warm so we could sit outside to eat and take in the beautiful town. The food is hearty and the restaurants we visited provided blankets for those sat outside.
We stayed for 2 nights in the old town and wish we could have stayed longer. Most people only visit for a few hours because it's tiny but for us, we were so glad we didn't do this, we like to travel slower than most.
I would love to return to this beautiful town.

Our one day tour of Sighisoara was the perfect length.
Our one day tour of Sighisoara was the perfect length. It is a delightful town and we enjoyed the ambience as well as touring the clock tower and walking up to the church. Also had dinner in the old town area. Central Park hotel was perfectly located for exploration. Also a great location to tour local sights or to engage in outdoor sports.
The hotel is conveniently located in the close proximity with the center. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was served a little strange. In the first day was a la carte and in the second day was buffet (probably in the second day were more guests). Of course, the second option was better (more food, more options...). The restaurant provide high quality food for launch and dinner. The parking places are very limited, especially when there are private party at the restaurant. I recommend this hotel for short visits.
The food at the restaurant was AMAZING, staff was polite and friendly. It is a really nice hotel, not too far from the city center, maybe about 4minute drive, hut you can go also on foot or take the bus (that actually stops right in the parking of the hotel).. Would reccomend to anyone visiting Sighisoara to at least stop at the restaurant for a meal, even if you are not also staying there. You will.not be disappointed, also they have very nice prices for the quality of the food. Will definitely come back again, if we're ever in town!
Nice, cozy and clean room. Comfortable and large beds. Large bathroom with free toiletries. Room has AC and fridge. Perfect location, on the main street, right below the old town. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of option to choose from. The restaurant is great: beautifully arranged, friendly staff, generous portions, and really tasty food. And the price for the room with breakfast included is really affordable. I highly recommend this location if looking for a central & cozy room in Sighisoara!
Absolutely beautiful rooms, and the staff (especially Sutru, who checked us in) was first rate. Sutru was truly one of the most friendly & happy people I have met in my travels. The hotel had been a private residence and has only been open as a hotel for about a year. All new fixtures & furniture, and a pool table for extra fun. The owner was friendly & explained the transition from residence to hotel in detail. This hotel is a real gem.
Everything is new! The hotel just opened a couple of weeks before we stayed there for the night.
We were received with a very friendly welcome and the staff also showed us how to get quickly to the old town centre. It’s basically a couple of steps up the hill across the street.
Our room was very well equipped, it had airco and a view on the quiet inner garden.
I would definitely stay here again when we pass by Sighisoara next time.
Our flight was late and we did not arrive until after midnight—Hotel Transylvania, I know, right? Daniella contacted us directly, stayed up until we got there and made sure we were settled before she left. Then was on hand the next day to greet us. Excellent personal service. We were more than impressed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The location is great, in the middle of Sighisoara old town.
The hotel is an old house that was converted and we knew what to expect going in. Parking was inside the hotel courtyard. The staff was helpful.
Breakfast was great, with some traditional Romanian options and home-made cakes.
Gorgeous hotel, very friendly and welcoming staff.
One of the nicest stays I've had in my few weeks of traveling.
Very convenient location for getting to the old town.
Also had the sweetest kitten that showed up out front that i got to love on. Hopefully someone takes it with them!
Amazing stay at this boutique hotel situated in the fortress of Sighisoara. The room was very clean, staff very responsive and the breakfast a delight.
We also got a super deal (last minute booking), so the value for the money we paid was just unbelievable. Totally recommend them!!!
Friendly helpful host who made us a lovely cup of coffee every morning. Shop next door, train station 5 mins walk and old town 12 mins walk, fab Lido in a nearby camping/hotel 8 mins walk - so location awesome. Room very spacious, light and cool.
First time at this hotel and I can say I like everything there the room unexpected big great bathroom , the breakfast very tasty.
Deff when I come to re visit Sighisoara I will check-in again here.
Beautiful boutique hotel repurposed from a 100 year old building near the center of Sighișoara with private parking and an amazing buffet breakfast. Friendly staff and owner who made us feel welcome.
Sighisoara and the Hotel are very nice, the room was very clean and we had a good sleep, but dinner was a bit disappointing we had ribs and duck leg… both a „very sad story“ -the wine was nice too :)
We went for the Sighisoara Blues Festival, which took place in the piata right outside the hotel - perfect location in the centre of the town. The staff were fantastic and the room was wonderful
Excellent location, available parking, the rooms are nice and clean.
Amazing staff, very attentive to the customer needs. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends!
The hotel has a very good location. The rooms are pretty big and have very nice stuff.
Also, some of the rooms have a nice view of the Sighisoara Castle.
