I have stayed at the Phoenicia for several business trips over the winter period and have always found it to be excellent value, with good service I will not be returning in the summer because the rooms have no air conditioning. Perhaps I will return when the weather gets cooler

Nothing worth to remember I would forget that I stay at the hotel! You have the feeling that everything around you is sticky from the dirt and have a different kind of smell. Starting from the room I stay in “superior” on 5th floor ending on the sauna which is a joke… I had a dinner at Lebanese restaurant and I return the ordered dish to kitchen because you can’t eat this. The lamb smells like 20 years old ram and no comments on dark brawn potatoes which should be French fries. The Italian restaurant is not much better. I went there in a hope that I’ll not go sleep hungry. I do not expect much from the Romanian hotels, but this 4 stars hotel is a shame. I would not stay there one more even they will pay me for it! Anyhow the hotel id full of guest mainly guys, maybe that there is a strip club at the lower ground floor.

This was my second stay at the Phoenicia and I particularly like the non- smoking dining areas at breakfast and in the Italian restaurant. This is comparatively rare in Romania as yet and most welcome to those of us who have become accustomed to being able to choose not to spend the day with clothes smelling of cigarette smoke. The Lebanese restaurant does not have no-smoking areas, which is a shame, because I would have eaten there but for the smoke.

Honestly I did not have high expectations, given the general perception about Romania. Well, starting with the Hotel being so close to the airport, in the best area of Bucharest, and ending with the attentive service, and the food (…oh my god, if one tries the local mouthwatering dishes… ), and everything for 80 euros…. In one sentence, great value for the money….

Convenient for travel to Petrom City. Although it is remote from the city centre, there is a good range of restaurants and other facilites inside the hotel, so there is no need to go to the centre after work.My room was comfortable and I was able to control the temperature to my own needs. I had to pay for restaurant meals individually. I would prefer to make a single payment at the end of my stay.

Nu e prima data cand vin la Phoenicia. Vin in Bucuresti cam de 4-5 ori pe an si ma cazez mereu aici. Sunt foarte multumita de calitatea serviciilor si de raportul pret/calitate.
