In the city centre, close to major tourist attractions. Nice breakfast. Wireless Internet connection was not working in the room. The view from our room was not wonderful. We could see the back of an old, dilapidated building. Very noisy at night.

Very good breakfast. There is no wireless internet connection in the rooms ( not easy to use my tab) and a bit noisy ( very big windows but don't seem to be closed very well). I really do not recommend the room service. It was very bad and tasteless ( for exmpl. french fries black !!)

Good service, staff very kind, very good breakfast. Strange idea to let the minibar closed and if you want to open it you have to get the key from the reception. Possible improvment wifi in the room.

Nothing except the booking.com offer - we got it for under 70 euros, and the only consolation was that the usual rates are an unfathomable 230+ euros The staff were, to a person, rude, impatient, unhelpful, snobbish, and petulantly elsewhere in mind and body. Was there a religious or moral reason for the fact that we are an unmarried couple - they gave us seperate beds? Who knows. Was every question or request we made in a largely empty hotel met with 'wait a minute, please' because we weren't in suits, or because the staff had a collective hangover from a 'let's be officiously miserable in unison' party the night before? Who cares. Did they resent us at check in, check out, and breakfast, and they try to palm us off with a ridiculousy expensive taxi option on leaving? Yes. Are you looking for a taste of old-world, bully-boy serviced, rip-off minded time travel trip to old communist Bucharest? Choose Ramada, and you will find a mini-picture of what it must have been like before the revolution. Pack your sense of humour

I have stayed at the Ramada many times, I like it because it central for me and the business government people I need to meet. It is ideal and most suitable. I think the hotel could do a much better job on getting taxis - cabs that will give the hotel customer a guaranteed fee to the airport. This is my only problem with the hotel as on many occassions the hotel staff have called a cab which I believe has been somewhat overpriced when I have to return to the airport. I may in future decide to stay elsewhere because of this problem The hotel should ensure that their customers are given and supplied with a known taxis - cab service, not some unmarked car and driver.

The front of the building looks good. That's of course the first thing you see on the pictures. The room was not clean, nor was it cleaned during my stay. The once white curtains were now grey/black. I had a Junior suite, but I did not get a free drink, I did not have a bathrobe, etc. The water in the bath was brown/yellow. The minibar did not cool properly + I needed a key. There is a lot of noise from the street. I watched pay-tv per accident for a few minutes, and I was immediately charged (17 euros), without a statement anywhere how much it would cost nor that I actually had to pay. They refused to take it off the bill in a very rude way. Parking around the hotel is hell, and the hotel does not have a parking. This hotel is very old, does not deserve 4 stars and has rude people working for them. Not Ramada worthy!

First hotel in 20 years of travel where I had to pay for the "gym" ! The whole hotel is a little depressing, especially the breakfast room.

The location was good, the price was good, the hotel was good. I had my car parked there and the staff was great help. The resturant was good for both dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We recommend this hotel.

Location, next to Odeon Theater and all major sights of the city. Internet connection was a nightmare. It was only working sometimes - I had no problems with the connection in the evenings. It didnt work at all during the days and when I complained, reception staff refused to assist proactively - saying I can sit and work in the lobby! They sent me off saying it must be a problem with my settings, when I replied that the internet does work at times, they sent a technician to see the plug (of course that was ok too) and the technician told me the reality is that this wired connection is like this, troublesome all the time. Not a Ramada-level of services as per my perception. Secondly, they charge guests for the fitness centre and pool, only sauna is included in room rate, I was not impressed by this.

Helpful friendly staff, great buffet breakfast every morning the bistro bar was a lovely meeting place to have a drink with friends. Costly to stay but worth it as staff always had time to help and were there 24 hours a day on reception. Didn't like the buffet bar closing at 10am. The opening hours for breakfast is good for business people. 10.30 finishing time would be better for those who are there on a leisure trip, especially if you are out late with friends the night before. Breakfast spread was lovely but on the third morning one got bored of the same selection.

The hotel has a good location in the Bucharest city centre, spa facilities and an excellent restaurant. We liked the classical/baroque interiors. The staff was very helpful, friendly, English speaking and provided excellent service. We enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this hotel for either business or leisure.

The hotel is very dated and it is very hard to understand how it is rated at 4 stars. This gives a certain expectation that is not met - however if you downgrade to a 3 star it would be exactly what you expect.

We stayed one night and I said it will pay to check out later. I was with my wife and I had a lot of luggage. However I got a small room where we had no place to move. I had fun holiday in Bucharest.
