The breakfast is a standard hotel breakfast and thus a bit boring but considering the very pleasant overall impression of the hotel, it is a very small minus.
For sure, there are bigger and newer hotels in Bucharest with probably more style and chic and technical innovations than Ramada Majestic Bucharest BUT as we all know, not all newer things are necessarily better. This small oasis of tranquility in the central part of Bucharest has an indisputable charm. From the very first moment I walked into Ramada Majestic Bucharest I automatically felt comfortable here - first of all thanks to the courteous and well trained staff of the hotel. I truly appreciated the work of the front office manager who served me during the check-in, Mr. Octavian Neagu. His way of working is highly professional in accordance with the best European hotel traditions - helping me with all my requests and needs. Mr. Neagu's way of communication is very polite, helpful and discrete. Also all other staff of the hotel I met (the security, the maids, the spa staff and the waiters) are very polite, easy going and helpful in any way. The rooms are not very big but very comfortable with nice classical furnitures and all equipment one might need. The sauna and the pool is small but yet very fine and clean and its use is complementary for hotel guests (except massage, fitness). And on the top of all - through my window I could see the two very famous landmarks of Bucharest - the beautiful Art Deco building of the Telephone Palace (former Romtelecom) and the Odeon Theatre. The street where the hotel itself and these two landmarks are located, Calea Victoriei, is THE symbol of Romanian capital's glorious past as the Paris of the East. In those years, this street was the place to be, to see and to be seen. Anyone who has seen photographs of Calea Victoriei from the golden age of Bucharest, the 1920-30s, will highly appreciate the location of the Ramada hotel.
I couldn't be more satisfied although I stayed just one single night here. Mr. Neagu, thank you and all of your colleges at the hotel for the good work, please do continue the same way!
