Perfect for business trips
Poor quality of WiFi, breakfast table was dirty, cafee was not ok
- Reception lacks staff or they leave to often. At the check out hours one receptionist can't do all by himself, so we had to waited around 10 minutes. then we decided to leave the card-keys because we feared we will lose the train. It was an easy check out since our room was already paid, for but the 3 people in front were only paying at check out and making the invoice took to much.
12th floor offers you a stunning view!!! - Food was nice - Clean
Gym's opening hour on the weekend didn't fit my schedule. Very few electric plugs (230 V) in the room. Nowadays an average traveller has 3-4 electronic devices.
Open, helpful staff. Perfect location. Clean and modern rooms. Bible in the room.
Very good location in town. Modern hotel, nicely designed; well-sized and functional rooms and bathrooms. Wonderful view from the upper floors. Friendly staff.
I did not get the 4 star feeling. Felt more like a 3 star superior.
Breakfast is very nice, location is excellent
no free parking (5E outside, 10E inside)
rich breakfast, nice staff, comfortable room, nice view over the city if your room is located on higher level, very good location (10 min walk to the historical center)
The lift requires a card to start (the room key card) and if the card doesn't work properly, you will get stuck in the elevator and "walked" around between the floors, untill somebody calls the lift at the ground floor. Because you also don't have available stairs. Fun fun !
The breakfast is impressive. It was after a big wedding saturday night so it was made more special for the wedding crowd, but it was one of the bedt hotel breakfast ever
- Asked for a double bed but got two single ones. - WiFi did not work (50% packet loss on ping); they could not fix it in time. - Ridiculously small breakfast plates (think coffee cup plate sizes); It's almost like they didn't want you to eat to much. - The glass bathroom door with 2cm of space on every side is a really bad idea. - Coffee for breakfast was really low quality.
- Very good location. - Very friendly staff. - Nice decor
Room was heated far too much and with no way to adjust made sleeping uncomfortable. Always only trainee staff at front desk who told us AirCon turned off in winter so controls don't work?!?
Large well appointed room with nice bathroom. Excellent view from our room. Extensive and nutritious buffet breakfast included each morning. Good free WiFi.
Great location, city center and near old city. Great service, very nice and helpfull staff, comfortable rooms, great view from upper floors, loved the bed and the pillows, very good sound insolation, very clean, good breakfast, they could work a little bit on the diversity, but good enough for couple of days, really nothing to complain, only good things to say about this hotel. It's my fourth time and for sure will come back again
I only stayed at Ramada Sibiu for one night, but everything was a pleasant surprise! The employee at the reception was very polite and efficient. They had prepared the room exactly as I had requested at the time of booking (high floor, quiet room). There was no problem with the heating as other reviewers had reported. The hotel is new and has a very nice design. Would definitely recommend!
Non smoking room smelled of smoke.
Great room, great view, great breakfast.
Parking, checking in and out
Breakfast, location, room
The comfort of the hotel and the food, as well
the AC systems, it is a little bit windy in the room during the night
Good value for the money, I negotiated a price similar with IBIS Hotel Sibiu, that has 3 stars, good services and nice room
friendly stuff, good location, comfortable room
The hotel is quite expensive, but I would say you get what you pay for.
The hotel is well positioned, close to the city center, so you can easily walk to the restaurants and bars area. The hotel has an underground parking which is particularly good on snowy or hot days. The breakfast is great, but if you want a decent Espresso, you have to order it separately.
Overated price The window was not working The phone was not working
Breakfast variety Great location Great view
We booked the room months in advance (in August for December) on booking.com - the "pay when you arrive" option. However, the hotel staff phoned at the beginning of December to ask for the money in advance. Their motivation: we have a lot of requests for this period since it's the NewYear's Eve (go figure!) and we need you to confirm by paying. That was completely unprofessional and, even though I told them that I was unhappy and disappointed, they told me there is no other way. It was also too late for us to find something decent, so we reluctantly agreed. The hotel ventilation is a nightmare: during our stay, the temperature outside was -21 degrees Celsius and the thermostat inside doesn't go above 23 -- in theory, because we never really saw it go above 22. But I guess we were lucky, because we heard other guests complain that they were greeted by snow on the window ledge when they arrived. Also, they have the cheap kind of ventilation system, so the air was incredibly dry and uncomfortable. For the first 2 nights, the heater in the bathroom didn't work at all, so taking a shower was quite an interesting experience. They fixed it on the third day. Bottom line: if you like to have control over the atmosphere in the room, this is NOT a hotel for you. The situation doesn't improve in the summer either, the thermostat still won't go below 21 degrees Celsius. All in all, I found that Ramada does not offer a good value for money. There are countless better hotels in Sibiu, such as Imparatul Romanilor (the oldest hotel in Romania).
The breakfast is awesome -- a lot of varities of fruit, pastries, meat, cheese and everything else. The location is ok - not exactly downtown, but a short (5 minutes) walk from Piata Mare. It is ideal is you want to avoid the noise and fuss of downtown, but still enjoy the benefits of the city center. Also, the upper-floor rooms have a stunning view over the whole city. We stayed at the 12th floor, but anything from 7 upwards should be amazing, too.
no slippers in the rooms, chilly rooms.
Great location, good breakfast variety.
Very cold in the room as the AC couldn't be adjusted.
internet was extremely slow
hotel was clean, breakfast was very good with a good variety
