Like home. Comfortable It has a nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
Price, location, atmosphere
Nothing to comment for this price and location
- the staff: very open to talk with about everything of interest - the location (a very old building which stands under protection) - the food and the wine (excellent!) - the studio which I got - that there are only some few rooms/studios available
that I didn't get this studio for another additional night ...
Excellent location with nearby bus and metro. Clean and nice apartment.
It was quite noisy with the bar nearby.
great location, lovely building and very relevant and interesting decor, very good price for the service, it was a wedding gift for our friends and they were delighted
very good location close to metro
the wifi is very bad
The staff, hotel and food are all excellent especially the food. No complaints about the hotel but you have a few stairs that are limited tred width to negotiate before getting to your room.
My only complaint is the nightclub across the road. Whilst they supply you with ear plugs these are poor quality. The house music they played was not just loud but extremely ridiculous so if you want sleep before 5am forget it. You pay extra for a room to rear but I doubt that would make any difference.
After I checked out from the hotel was away from the city for a few days, couldn't able to carry all my luggages. Hotel staffs were kind enough to keep my luggages .
Staff were very cool and helpful. Place of the hotel is just in the hearth of the city and it is a small and sweet hotel. First floor is a classy restaurant which is called embassy. I recommend younger couples for a trip.
Sometimes music of the restaurant can hesitate you. Fridge in the room was empty...
Feeling of resinece and warm personal attitude help full especially Erica who was resposble for Willa Barrio operations.Pleasant garden restaurant on the entry.
Sometimes noisy music at the evenings that came from the restaurant below.r
very noisy environment, almost no soundproof: could not sleep all night due to people/staff talking very loud till late at night. closed windows did not help. also, no parking facilities
It is a nice refurbished old villa, with a nice terrace and restaurant-reception hall. Interior design, good breakfast (extra-charge) and service.
The rooms are located in the attic, one cannot stand entirely in the bathroom, you must lean to access some key points. We were not announced there is an event organized at the ground floor of the villa prior to our arrival. However, the event was over about midnight, so no sleep disturbance.
The look of the hotel was old and romantic, yet it was renovated in modern way. Clean room and frendly personal, top location near the old town. Very nice experience for young couple with low budget, who still want romantic feeling of this amazing historical town. I would definately come back when I visit Bucharest again. Additionally, the restaurant down stairs was good. Breakfast with smoked salmon and egg was fantastic.
We did not find it incombinient in perticular, but I would note that there is no elevetor, as for some people it could be a problem. Quality of sleep was unfortunately not perfect because there was Karaoke party going on whole evening and it was very loud. But I would say it was rather a bad luck.
Beautiful neighbourhood ambiance. Great recorded music at cafe and good breakfast for the price.Short walk to Pieata Romana for buses including to airport. Friendly & helpful staff.
Stairs to rooms steep. August heat in open air lobby a bit uncomfortable, but only place for internet.
- Price - Convenient location (15 min walk from Piata Unirii), near the bus stop to Otopeni airport
- No four-star hotel quality (no reception -that's a residence- but we didn't have any problem to check-in) - Expensive prices at the resto-bar (26 RON p.p. for the breakfast; 20 RON on average for a cocktail) but that may be because Bucharest is simply more expensive than the rest of Romania... - Uneven service at the resto-bar (the second time, our waiter decided by himself how much his tip would be...) - Hard to sleep when there is a party (even if earplugs are provided)
Good position, nice and comfortable rooms, good restaurant at the bottom of the hotel.
Please add mosquito net to the windows! People staff was present only during check-in, you must ask to restaurant personell. No lift, so take care if you have reduced mobility.
Nice and relaxing environment for staying some days.
- There is no reception available 24/24h; - Some gnats insects in the room: very difficult to sleep; they should use gnats repellent.
Big room with two levels, huge sofa, seats, clean, quiet side road to a very busy square, very close to a metro station fancy restaurant and bar (which I did not use due to time constraints)
Low ceiling and wooden beams in the bathroom, so mind your head
central and not noisy
they need an elevator
The restaurant lounge at the level 0 of the hotel, with very good dishes for little amount. Very good staff in restaurant and friendly one in hotel. The best quality/price rate i 've found in Bucarest. Really a pleasure, for business travel or personnal stay. Congratulations.
The empty mini-bar.
good location next to metro station and to 24 hours supermarket.
one window was broken. no reception. very expensive bar and restaurant. not very friendly waiters.
Nice and clean room, good restaurant, friendly staff.
Rather far away from the oldtown.
