Hotel Unique Bucharest  

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Originally we had wanted to stay in the Old Town, because we are tourists. We did a lot of research and I was worried about the level of noise and safety of those areas, so chose Hotel Unique for two reasons. It appeared to be centrally located, but on a safe and quiet street. It was recently rennovated. The wonderful surprise was just how centrally located it was! a 2 minutes walk to Piazza Roma was fabulous! and just how modern and comfortable the room was, given the fantastic price. We are definitely champaigne tastes with a beer budget and I was so impressed with every element of the hotel. On business we have larger hotel budgets so are familiar with luxury and travel. This hotel truly is unique, including the luxurious multiple jets of the showers. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Anyway who pays twice the price for the 'other' hotels, on business or pleasure, hasn't experienced Hotel Unique. Once you do, you will never stay anywhere else again. I will tell every Canadian I know that if they are going to Bucharest, this is the most wonderful place to stay in. I wish you had a chain all over the world, so I didn't have to spend so much time on research!

Your neighbor is a bit of a freak. Apparently the institute of some rich person is the building. The fella was a gate keeper of sorts that took his job a tad to seriously. We made the mistake of stopping the vehicle in front of him. There was a no stopping sign, but we only needed 1 minute to take our bags out of the vehicle. He was screaming so much, we moved immediately.... just backed up so he didn't consider it a violation. He kept screaming even when we were taking the bags out of the vehicle. We knew he didn't have anything to do with the hotel, but clearly they need some sedatives or something because that guy looked like he was going to have a heart attack. Nothing you can about that I guess. It is the city after all. But shyer clientelle may have existed, stage left.

The hotel stuff was very friendly and kind, willing to help anytime and with everything. The room was very clean and comfortable. I also liked the design of it. One of the best hotels I have stayed. I would definitely recommend it!

The staff is very helpful and could not ask for more from the desk staff. I would like to mention that when you put a coffee maker with filters in the rooms please provide coffee so it isnt such a tease. ALL THE BEST, EARL EDMONDS

Excelent business facilities and comfort, again something new in the room and very tastefull red wine from the house. Very good breakfast and extremely clean room. FRiendly and supportive staff.

Clean and modern , good location, fair price, good service it is very helpful the free wifi. Nice and intimacy dinning room.

In general no complains the only matter that can be improved is that there were not enough garbage bins at least in our room only one small one in the bathroom may one more in the room itself could be useful.

Excelent room, spacious and very clean, very helpful and polite staff, less than 5 minutes from Piata Romana (metro aso).

Small hotel, new, very clean. Nice breakfast already early in the morning. Rooms are spacious, in modern style; good shower and friendly receptionists. Great 2 pers. Bed, especially because it was not formed by 2 one person beds next to each other as in lots of other hotels, with an annoying space in the middle - flat screen, minibar....

Well it is central located but the street has a lot of 'old glory' houses and villas that are quite shabby now.

Maybe the receptionist...it was a smiling person..

It is 3 stars hotel, but in your site it has 4 stars...like many hotel from Bucharest....how is it possible?..why dont check before to let them in yours site?

My wife and I, plus one friend, spent most of a week at the Unique. The facility and all the staff were perfect. We had an art exhibit to prepare and the staff accommodated our needs totally. If we have business in the future we will certainly stay at the Unique again and recommend it to all our friends. (Also, read my book bon courage introduced at the Bucharest Book Fair and translated into Romanian. A perfect Christmas gift!) Cheers, Ken McAdams

The Unique Hotel looks and is really new and it is such a comfort to feel this. Nice touch of design elements especially in the bathroom which is so elegant. Professional staff and very good breakfast.
