Good location and large room Rate was given in euros but charged in lei at a very bad exchange rate (well above both the official rate and what you could get on the street). We then tried to pay in euros in cash but the hotel refused to refund the charge. We found the whole thing very misleading and left a bad taste in our mouth. |

The room was large and breakfast was awesome The hotel was not child friendly at all. They have no baby cribs and were not nice about taking the extra bed they put in the room off of our bill. The room is not as close to the city center as indicated. |

Nice room with as good a view as possible. No attempt to assist us in getting some clothes cleaned. No hot water and there was no obvious plan to repair the problem. No compensation offered either. Not nearly as well located in town as the web site stated. |

The location of the hotel was good and the staff was helpful. For example, they recommended us a very nice restaurant very near by and helped to make a table reservation if needed. The hotel approached us via email in advance to offer us a transportation from the airport with a reasonable price and it worked very well. In all, a safe, clean place. The safety deposit system raised some questions as they stored our valuables in a box under the reception desk. It was not locked, but the staff seemed to be constantly present at the reception. We had to list all our valuables and hand the list over to the staff. It worked ok and nothing was missing, but we did not like the procedure. A private, locked system would be needed. |
