It has 16 ski runs with total length of 50 km, a bobsleigh run and several cable cars and ski lifts.
Once a quiet monastery settlement in the Prahova Valley, Sinaia quickly became a booming resort town with the construction of the summer residence of King Carol I. Prior to World War II and the abdication of the royal family, Sinaia was a summer retreat for Romania's aristocracy. A walk up the mountainside reveals many grand summer homes from this period.

I like everything except for the place of hotel and that there is not a signs to the hotel, the road to hotel ( not road but stones way) .there is not signs to help find the hotel. |

Our host, though lacking in English was very accommodating and keen to help. Lovely views. Difficult to find and not easily accessible either on foot (steep climb + 200 steps) or by car (rocky, unpaved, steep drive) |

Not being a hotel but a room in a house it was quiet with a nice view from the balcony. Was a long steep walk from the town partly on unmade roads. |

Very friendly and hospitable staff. Clean rooms and excellent views. Good breakfast and fantastic coffee. The hotel was almost impossible to find. No one in the village had heard of it and there were no signs showing the way. We had to ask for help from a random local in a restaurant, who called the hotel and got the directions and then followed us in the car up there. Good for us since the landlady did not speak very good English. |

L'accueil et la gentillesse des personnes, la vue depuis l'appartement, le confort et la propreté. L'accès à cette pension est tout à fait inaccessible par la grande majorité des voitures: chemin en pierres, attention au carter d'huile, la voiture de location n'a pas résisté... Un 4x4 est nécessaire même l'été. Heureusement les propriétaires nous ont assistés pour la montée des bagages. |

Расположен в частном секторе - тихо, уютно, комфортно. Вид на горы. Приветливый и отзывчивый персонал. Чистые комната и ванная. Есть посуда, СВЧ, холодильник. Можно попить пиво на террасе. Есть парковка. В отдалении от основных туристических мест. Ходили пешком (20 мин) или на такси. |
