Vila Toparceanu  

Nice place, it's clean and tidy, good breakfast and the staff are friendly. It is in a residential area and not close to the city, but it close to the airports, IKEA etc. They do evening meals which are perhaps a bit basic but they are good.

Our experience at this hotel was a delight from beginning to end. Helpful, attentive and friendly staff, beautiful rooms. It had a warm and cosy feel to the place. Very welcoming. Very early breakfast supplied. Wonderful place. Will stay here again.

We booked this place due to the fact that it is 7-8 minutes by car from the airport and because we needed to spend the night close to the airport (between 2 flights). The place is spotless from all points of view. First, as communicated by email, somebody waited for us at the airport and drove us to the hotel, for free. Next day, since the car was not available for transfer to the airport, the hotel paid our taxi. Second, the room is spacious, clean and very quiet. The same is valid for the bathroom. The place feels a lot "like home". Very warm. The staff, which in our case was the same man in the evening and in the morning, was very nice and helpful when we asked a few things (e.g. printing our boarding cards). Breakfast is simple, but tasty. There are 4 choices to choose from. We had omlette with ham and cheese, which was cooked upon our order. Very good!! With these being said, I am sure that next time when we will have to stay close to the airport, this will be the place. It deserves all our appreciation! Very nice and helpfull staff, nice interior, the room was also nice and the bed was very comfy and big. I was asked the night before at what time i want the breakfast ready. Overall a great value for the money!

Excellent service from the moment we arrived. A staff named George, greeted accommodated us throughout our stay. Stayed here to catch an early morning flight. Was greeted at Bucharest train station(w/out requesting) ... We travel quite a bit and have stayed in numerous hotels but this by far is one of the best in terms of service! Very happy!

Vila Toparceanu is the perfect place to spend a layover night or if you have a late arrival or early departure. It is only a 5 minute drive to the airport, and they provide a very reliable shuttle service. Manager and Staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. This is not a luxury hotel but it is clean, quiet, and has all the basic comforts. Rooms are of a good size and the bathroom is modern. Breakfast is plentiful. You chose one of about 6 different breakfast combinations and it is cooked to order. I also had dinner there and the food was very good. Again, the Manager could not be nicer. They were very kind and arranged transportation to the train station (Gare du Nord) the next day at a very reasonable price. All in all and excellent value for money. I recommend Vila Toparceanu.

Excellent hotel, very freindly staff and extremely helpful. Excellent food.

Service was very good. We had to spend the night in bucharest to make a plane connection. They picked us up at the airport and took us back to make our connection,which they advertised. The staff was very accomadating to our needs. Airplane noise was minimum. The neightborhood was very good.

Very welcoming, excellent veggie food. Tremendous value and the free airport shuttle was extremely useful. The accommodation was lovely and the overall service makes the establishment highly recomendable.

Owner and staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Nice quiet rural location but close to motorway and Otopeni Airport. Room was spacious and well equipped with air conditioning and mini bar. Outside patio at front of property for dinner or drinks was also nice.

We got to the hotel very late at night from the airport. But the young man at the desk didn't hesitate to help us get in and get settled for the night. He brought in all our luggage. Early the next morning, again, the same young man was very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was excellent served hot from the kitchen. The young man checked us out and we were on our way. He insisted on taking our luggage out to the car. Very friendly.

The location. This was our first trip to Romania. We had trouble navigating our rental car to the hotel from the airport even with the gps. But it was dark and we couldn't see street signs or get a sense of what direction we were going.

The hotel staff was outstanding picked us up at the airport rooms were clean and comfortable.

The "wild" dogs howlng at night. Had to close the window and turn on the airconditioner to get a good sleep

Vila Toparceanu is the perfect location for people going to and coming from the airport. The vila is clean, comfortable and the staff very helpful. I used to stay at other hotels before (Rin, Angelo) but Vila Toparceanu is going to be the only one I'll use from now on. I warmly recommend this vila to all travellers. Thank you.

They were good with airport pick up and drop off. Also good about getting us breakfast quite early.

Hotel was very clean and very comfortable both indoors and outdoors. The Staff were extremely nice and very helpful esp the young man that seemed to run the hotel. The food was excellent. We would definitely recommend Vila Toparceanu. "Seirbhis den scoth ar fud" Make sure you have map of hotel location as it was hard for the Taxi driver to find the Hotel and then he charged us a fortune. So beware of the greedy taxi drivers.
