Located on the shores of one of Belgrade’s many fine parks, ArkaBarka Floating Hostel is just a 2-minute walk from the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Palace of Serbia. The hostel floats on the Danube River and offers simply furnished rooms. Most have large windows that flood rooms with a lot of natural light and many have colourful walls that contrast nicely with natural wood floors. All have either a shared or private bathroom and Wi-Fi is available free of charge. ArkaBarka Floating Hostel has a snack bar, terrace and barbecue facilities. Bicycles can be borrowed from the property free of charge. Shops, restaurants, bars and cafes can be visited just a 10-minute walk away. Boat tours can be organized by the hostel upon request. staff, room with a view, free welcome drink, sweet breakfast, comfy rooms, air con. hard to park close by on holidays, the designated parking lot is rather far. no credit card payments.

We were in Belgrade a couple of nights and stayed in Arka Barka.It were surprisingly clean, the staff was young, friendly and speaking English fluently.Definitely we will stay there next time. We had a great time.

Very much enjoyed my stay at the Arka Barka in Belgrade. I was very impressed with the room that I stayed in, as it was very comfortable and also a great view out onto the river. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and were happy to have a chat with guests. I would certainly like to stay there again if I return to Belgrade.

Very nice and romantic atmosphere, wonderful view over the Danube river. Located in a calm park, full of tranquility and peace. The description of the location is misleading - the boat is difficult to find (gps cannot locate it) and it is not located close to a public parking. After wandering about 45 minutes in search of the hostel, we finally found it with the phone guidance of the staff. Then we had to leave our car at some 400-500 m away, which seemed quite far, as we are travelling with a small kid and arrived late at night.

Very friendly staff, very clean and warm room. Waking up ON the Danube is a beautiful experience that I would recommend to anyone. We wish we could have stayed more. We had an excellent and comfortable room that could host 5 persons although we had booked a double room. Although in spring and summer walking until the old city is a real pleasure (25 minutes along the river), when the weather gets cold, the Hostel might not be the best option for someone who wants to be very centrally located.

The staff makes this place an absolutely fantastic weekend residence! Also free bicycles, ducks, welcome drinks and thousands if smiles did make this trip far better than so many trips in my life before. Just make sure you aren't sea sick as Barka really floats! :)

Best hostel you can find in Belgrade. Very good location, nice view, amazing people working there, breakfast included any time you want (nice sandwitches). I just love Arka Barka. Problem with some mosquitoes first night, but I took care of them and fixed the window in my room.

The ArkaBarka Floating Hostel is just awesome! The people are so nice and friendly and the place itself, floating on the river Danube is stunning. A breakfast on the terrace with view over the river is unforgettable. And the location is really good as well as it's only about 20 minutes walk to the city centre (or five minutes on the bus) and about 15 minutes walk to a lot floating restaurants, bars, pubs,... on the river. I'd definitely recommend ArkaBarka!

Путешествовали с друзьями по Сербии и Черногории. В Белграде ночевали одну ночь. Отличный хостел для ночлега. Недалеко от старого города, на берегу реки, красиво. Отличный персонал!! Молодые общительные ребята. Отсутствие подъезда к хостелу, пришлось оставлять чемоданы в машине и идти пешком. Дома стоят на воде и качаются, не для людей с морской болезнью.
