The hotel is very close to the city center. It has a garage. The food was excellent. The staff is very friendly and Dragan, the manager, is a helpful person. Free WiFi. The room no 2 (a triple room) does not have AC, which made it too hot inside.

The food was excellent, the rooms refurbished and very cosy. It is very close to the centre of town and it has a garage which is perfect ! Everything was great, second time at this hotel, would definitely come back !

Something doesn't work ...

the location, the place where the breakfast was served ( a la carte not buffet as showed in the pictures)

the bathroom in the room(no 13) was old, without window. Νothing ,but the colours of the walls was relevant to the pictures showed in the site.the sheets were rough

The hotel is right in the centre, with extremely friendly staff, especially Dragan (manager), he helped us with baggage, garage, etc. Hotel is clean, free and well working WiFi. Breakfast is a la carte, but very good. Excellent restaurant downstairs.

There is no elevator in the hotel. Top floor rooms were a bit cold at night. Garage is not the easiest one, especially with large car.

Definitely a place to be. Personal is very friendly, nice, clean place. Very good value for your money. Worth of recommendation.

Very good food. It's worth to come over for dinner. Very good location - close to city center. Nowy Sad is a beutiflull city. We recommend the visit.

Very poor standard of rooms.

I can not praise this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived Dragan and his staff did everything possible to make our stay as welcoming as it could be. When one of our group was unwell on the second day, a member of staff even called by the room to see if they were okay. Eight of us stayed for 2 nights and loved our stay. The restaurant in the hotel had a wide variety of dishes which helped to cater for vegetarians in our group. For the price we paid, this has to be the most value for money I've ever got in a European hotel. On the day we were leaving for Belgrade, Dragan even arranged a minibus for us and then provided us with free drinks and sandwiches for the journey. Can't complement this hotel enough. Some of the rooms may look a bit tired but they are going through upgrading and this tiredness did not detract from the comfort of the hotel.

The owner and staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The room we were in (10) was massive and very comfortable, excellent full body shower and walk in wardrobe. The restaurant is exceptional and the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city. Will stay here again.

Friendly staff, cleanliness, atmosphere

Hotel well located. Its 5 min walk to city Catholic Cathedral and Hotel Vojvodina (where Novi Sad semi-marathon took place). Owner Dragan is very helpful. Breakfast a la carte, and you may order anything you want from such menu. Underground parking is available, quite narrow, but manageable.

The bathroom facilities could be improved. We also got a room at the last floor, and near the roof, and because of this it was a bit chilli in the night.

The main feature of Fontana is very friendly and hospitable staff. Ask Dragan if anything is needed. Rooms are clean and breakfast is very good. Excellent location. Definitely would stay again.

The rooms were spacious and clean with nice bathrooms. Breakfast was great and the staff was wonderful!

Our room needed a thicker curtain so the street light wouldn't shine in at night.

Great location, very close to the city center. Underground parking for free (even though parking lot a bit smaller). Good staff (mostly the waiter who welcomed us). Breakfast is ok (you pick up the stuff from the menu). Food in general is ok (we also stayed for dinner), local specialities are great. Room was big, clean, there was everything we needed, AC was working perfectly, there was also balcony.

Probably just the usual fact in the whole Balkan - people smoke everywhere - in restaurants, bars,... And the fact that streets were not cleaned from snow (again, a usual thing in Serbia :-) Beside that, our stay was great, city is really beautiful, I would recommend this place and would come back.

Dragan, the manager was very nice and friendly. Also some of the rooms we had were very nice and confortable. Hotel is in the very center in a nice area with fancy pubs. Breakfast is extramly good you can chose from a bunch of food and drinks.

We had a reservation for two nights, but for the first night we received a room of lower qualitiy than we booked as somebody stayed in the hotel more, and they had not enough room available. The waiters at breakfast were not very nice, made us feel wrong asking for service which is not that you would expect in a 4 star hotel.

Location, spacious rooms, nicely furnished and nice in-house restaurant.

Very friendly staff and clean hotel.

Very close to city centre and although 25 mins walk from the bus/train terminals it is easy to locate if you print off the Google map. Easy walk to the park and over the bridge to see the Petrovaradin Fortress. Huge room with balcony, friendly English speaking staff and a reasonably priced restaurant.

Luke warm water first night as switched boiler system hadn't been explained on arrival.
