Sasa and his team were so helpful and kind. We arrived tired, hot and stressed and he gave us a lovely bowl of fruit and coffees for us to sit down on the waterfront. They were constantly helpful with a real personal touch. The breakfast was great and the room was amazing. Dosan the cat was also extremely friendly and made the place even more homely. Its a short walk or bus ride into the centre of Belgrade and excellent for exploring the waterfront barge clubs and bars. A fantastic hostel run by really lovely people.

A perfect location, clean and cozy rooms, friendly and very helpful staff and good breakfast. A short walk through the park to USCE shopping center and a little longer walk in the park (or a cheap taxi ride) to old Belgrade. Just perfect!

What great hosts at San art! Couldn't have been more helpful! Lovely terrace area on the water not far from restaurants and bars and short taxi to the centre. Basic but lovely clean bedrooms.

This hostel is beautifully located on the river. The breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, we stayed here while there was a music festival going on literally just a few metres away, and we couldn't sleep because of the noise so we decided to leave - but the staff were understanding, did not charge us for that night, and even helped us find another place. We appreciate their friendliness. If it hadn't been for the noisy festival, this place would have been great.

If you want quiet accommodation, don't stay here during the music festival that takes place for 1-2 weeks in mid-June. Terrible noise! So check in advance. Also, wifi didn't work very well.

It was my second time that I had been there and I will be back again just to see those nice people. Same hospitality as before, more and more warm atmosphere, more and more beautiful memories... Many thanks to Sasha, Mr. Kalem,Ivana and the San Art crew who are aware of the things that are more valuable than money.. Love from Turkey .. (Ozge-Turkay-Cenk-Berna-Zeynep-Onur)

Sasha and Ivana were amazing hosts, always there to help and to give some tips for your staying. Location between park and river is friendly and relaxing

Being the location out of the city center it might be necessary to often use a taxy and sometimes it might turn expensive (just double check the meter with the driver and you ll save some good money!)

As a Frequent Traveler, i never saw a hotel with the comfort and View of San Art Hostel. Around the hostel from one side is a gorgeous nature view, and from the other is the stunning River (/Lake) with a Cozy traditional breakfast and drink of your choice. As for the Staff, Ayyyy, there can't be more lovely & Helpful than Vladimir and Iviana. Not to talk about the owner who even refused to take the full amount of money that we should pay and asked for only half the full amount. Those are people who appreciate the traveler, and from my side, i would never step into another hostel in Belgrade, like seriously the BEST. Best Regards From Lebanon, Popozao

A lovely and confortable hostel, in a great and safe position, very quiet and very close to the old city (2 bus stops). The highligts are the feeling of the proximity of the river and the hospitaliy (you really feel at home). We want to visit the hostel again!

The double room is a bit small but the space is very well used.

Hosts are really friendly, I mean really. A house on the river is in itself a fun idea, this house felt new and fresh, with nice balconies and a huge terrace right on the river, a peaceful feeling and nice view on the river. The city centre is just a few bus stops from the hotel, the hosts will surely help you to explain how to get there. We stayed 1 night only, with minimum baggages, so the walk from the parking place to the hotel was not problem. Highly recommended, specially in Summer.

As mentioned by many others, parking is a challenge, since there is no real parking nearby, the closest parking places (approx. 200 meters) are at the back entrance of the gigantic Palace of Serbia, with a no entry sign for the common people, but we were told at the hotel that this sign is not to take seriously, it is possible to park right on the sides of the entry road which leads to the backside of the Palace. Since I was not aware of his when arriving, I parked my car on the side of road "Ušće" which crosses the park, this is approx. 600 meters East from the hotel. The safest parking might be the parking of UŠĆE Shopping Center, but this some 800-900 meters from the Hotel. Apart of the parking, the only minor negative point was the momentary lack of hot water at shower peak time (around 09.00 am on a Sunday morning), otherwise it was good.
