The apartment serves well it's main purpose - an overnight stay between flights, due to it's close location to the airport. Nothing special, but affordable.
The hostess charged us 15 euros one way, from and to the apartment (very much overpriced). It was just a 5-7 minutes ride. It fact, we paid almost as much for the transport as for staying overnight.
Easy to get to from airport Lovely staff Short walk to restaurant and grocery store.
Everything was good :)
Fantastic host Convenient location for overnight stay
Pickup Service from and to Airport Very friendly and welcoming staff I got lost in the early morning and they helped me, picked me up. The room was like an appartment. Situated in a quiet side street off the main road, excellent connection to city and airport.
I stayed too short and would have loved to stay longer.
Big appartment for a small price and friendly staff. Before your stay you receive an email from the staff with an exact description on how to get to the hotel (by bus, taxi, etc.) and they also offer a pick-up from the airport! (at extra cost, no higher than cab-fare)
It was 30 minutes to the city center, for us this was not a problem because we were only here for a layover on our flights, so we didn't have time to go to the city anyway. However, this is something you might want to consider if you're staying in Belgrade for a longer period of time.
Surrounding is not great. For people who come to stay just one night it is ok but for longer period it is questionable
The hotel is in a backstreet. You can use taxi or bus to go there, bus stop is close to the hotel. With baggage a taxi is needed. Only use taxis from a regular place. Don't take taxis, if they are offered by someone; they are very expensive.
At first we couldnt find it, but the owner was so friendly to pick us up. When we arrived our jaws dropped. A very big accomedation wich showed there was put much time in to make the guests feel at home. When we left the owner even escorted us to the airport. We will absolutely come back here.
ideally located for a late arrival at the airport. Extremely helpful and welcoming owner who speaks perfect English. Simple furnishings but all the essentials are there.
The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Before arrival, we enquired about shuttle transport to the hotel, but did not have time to receive the reply or confirm exactly when we would arrive. When we arrived at the airport late in the evening, we therefore expected to have to catch a taxi, but we were very pleasantly surprised to find someone from the hotel with our name on a sign waiting to take us back to the hotel. The rooms were much more spacious than we expected, especially considering the very good price we paid for the rooms. As we left very early the next morning, we greatly appreciated the short distance to the airport and the breakfast and shuttle transportation available at a very early hour.
The breakfast (cold cuts, cheese, egg and bread) was too salty to give much of it to our toddler. Other than this we had no problems with our stay.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, even bringing me a plate for breakfast the next morning. :)
There were faint smells of cat and mildew. The kitchen was missing basic items like a strainer and bread knife.
It was our second time at this place. A perfect option for a stopover in Belgrade. Very nice spacious apartment and a great host.
Large apartment Excellent WiFi 5-minute drive to airport Local bus going to downtown, stopping right in front of Villa Mondo. Owners are easy to contact, friendly, english-speaking.
So-so cleanliness, hidden location, very simple breakfast not vegetarian friendly
it was very cold and no hot water. breakfast is very poor
