The room is clean and in the center of the city. Easy to find it and good marked.

Staff does not speak any english and they sit around watching TV all day so I felt like visiting somebody at home. Only one toilet and shower.

    Excellent location.

It was very difficult to find. The taxi driver gave up and left me at the street address. Eventually, I found a door at the back of the building, though it was still unclear how to contact the hostel.

This hostel experience was quite quirky, actually it felt like the hotel manager herself had the hostel as her apartment, she was there all the time and kept an eye on everything, so you didn't really feel relaxed there. On the other hand, she could help you with everything you needed, if you managed to get it through in Russian. It was basically an apartment with a huge living room and a few bed rooms. Location was superb, close to the main pedestrian area, entrance from the inner yard.
