loved it,don't be mistaken or scared by the entering into the building.the hotel is wonderful.with the service staff had provided you wouldn't ask for anything else.i would give at least 4 stars for it. absolutely delighted, great value for money.great location! just the old halls of the building, but i guess it's because a historic building and a living apartment house. |

Room was large and comfortable. Staff was nice and tried to be very helpful but spoke absolutely NO english. Ethernet connection for internet worked well. If you could figure out bus routes. Catch trolley bus #10 or 11 to central downtown. I used my laptop with translation website to ask some basic questions which worked somewhat. The metro was a challenge because reading cyrillic was very difficult. I asked for help using my metro map and pointing to where I was going gesturing. The Russian people were all very helpful but spoke little english. Young people seem to speak more than the older... which was about zero! None of the three women who I encountered spoke any english. Hotel is like 6 rooms 5 flights of stairs up in large apartment like building. The entry way from street is a little scary at first, but hotel rooms and area is okay. There is a very small elevator but hard to see. Closest metro stop is maybe 1.5 kilometers or farther away from hotel. From hotel, take bus #128 to closest metro stop on Vasilevsky Island. I would not recommend this hotel unless you speak some Russian. |

The hotel is too far away from main touristic atractions of the city. The nearest metro station is about 1 km away and you have to walk, wasting lots of time. No reason to stay there! |

Hotel staff was very pleasant, the room was very spacious and comfortable... Only thing is that breakfast was the same every morning... |

Hotel Altburg on Vasilyevsky is on the Vasilyevsky island in Sankt Petersburg. That island has very good position in regard of downtown, metro station etc. The hotel is very clean and pleasant. The building in which is hotel located. |

Доброжелательный персонал, наличие всего необходимого в номере, близкое расположение магазинов, большое кол-во автобусов и маршруток на которых можно добраться до метро. LAN сеть в гостиницах в наше время уже не актуальна. Необходимо перейти на Wi Fi. |

приветливый персонал, халаты в номере, в целом жить можно, но не более двух дней, отель расположен в бывшей коммуналке, подъезд грязный и пахнет, но в самом отеле все нормально, светло и чисто очень скромный и однообразный завтрак, очень плохая звукоизоляция (внутри помещения) - дверь в номер такая же как в санузел, поэтому доносящиеся в коридоре звуки слышно очень хорошо, цена все таки завышена для такого уровня |

Lite og intimt hotel, men meget romslig rom, alt var strøkent, rent og pent. Imøtekommende personale, selv om de snakket meget dårlig engelsk, klarte de å hjelpe meg med transport til flyplassen. Det var også veldig stille der, ikke noe støy, rommet vendte mot bak gården, Utmerket seng, rommet ble ryddet hver dag. Meget enkel frokost, med hard kokte egg, kunne kanskje byttet ut de kalde egga med eggerøre? |

dobra komunikacja z hotelu autobusami i trolejbusami blisko metro blisko do centrum i targów lenexpo monotonne śniadania przez 5 dni to samo , fatalna brudna klatka schodowa która jest dojściem do hotelu |
