All services and smiling people
Great view on the river, good breakfast, well trained staff. Stayed at the junior suit with river view and panoramic window - splendid.
It was a little bit chilly, and they don't have any heater.
We've arrived at the hotel at 8 p.m.! and rooms were not ready. We were suggested to wait for 40 minutes. In 40 minutes time we got two rooms and one of them was still dirty. When we came at the reception, we found that many people are waiting for their rooms to be cleaned up (at 9 p.m) when check in time is 2 p.m. Staff was not trying to solve this and was a bit rude (asking to pay in advance). However, when a certain organized tourist group arrived, they pushed through to the reception and got 4-5 rooms, despite the fact that some people were waiting for their rooms for hours. In the end we insisted to call to manager and got 30% discount. But nevertheless. Rooms are not clean. We had a bird nest just above our window. On the second day of stay rooms were not cleaned. Breakfast is served in awful cold room. Everything was not fresh and a lot of items finished hour before closure. Awful hotel. I had a good experience with Azimut, but this was the worst hotel I've ever seen. Despite the fact that the price for the rooms is very high - you can stay in good hotel in Nice or Milan for that Money
-cheap -good choice of buffet for breakfast -breakfast included in price -good wifi in rooms and lobby -comfortable rooms -option for lunch and dinner in hotel
-no English TV channels -walls somewhat thin....can hear neighbours TV -far walk from center in cold winter months -irregular times for cleaning rooms.
Staff are very friendly. Beautiful view over river Oka.
There is no access for wheelchair, and there is no access for suitcases at the entrance door, so we had to carry over the stairs. Very poor kitchen, breakfast with very limited selection.
Quiet with very nice view to the Oka river, which is issuing to the Wolga (Strelka). Good for walking, as located on a plateau above the rivers, with many walking lanes - a bit like a park. Not far from the historic district with its pedetrian area, the Kremlin, the Chkalov staircase, the place for a riverboat trip and many other point of interests. The rooms are standard in good condition and proper. Breakfast buffet was rich and versatile (standard). WiFi works Taxi availabilty is good and quick (max. 5-10 min) Personal was kind in suburban contact.
There was no warm water supply during the stay, due to maintenance of the district heating. A bit unflexible from Hotel side in provision of a complaissant solution. Only after kind influence of booking.com The Hotel has no public lounge only a larger reception area to sit.
The views were amazing and they gave me a bottle of prosecco as it was my birthday
WiFi was a bit poor in the room and there was no hot water due to maintainence. I would have liked a reduction in price for this
Location is awesome. view is superb. staff very co-operative. well-maintained.
alternate provision for hot water should be made when there is major problem, bcoz travellers cannot be without taking shower for days.
The location is good. Near to the river. Very quite place.
There was not hot water for some days!!! The lobby is very old. The breakfast is poor. The wallas are not aqustic. When you sleep at night you can hear your neighbor's TV or anything else.
- location (fantastic view over Oka river, 10 min walk from Kremlin) - rooms (clean, with a/c) - wi fi worked very well - breakfast
- water temperature in the shower can sometimes be unstable
Nice rooms, but need repair. Good water head in the shower. Nice breakfast.
Too "Soviet" and old fashion reception and dining room. Far from the center. I had a room with a garden view, on opposit site should be fantastic view to the river. No place to sit and discuss business questions in the hall.
Security staff - unfriendly, poorly educated, bullish. Restaurant on Saturday evening was closed for "private party".
Receptionist book expensive taxi.
Very nice buffet breakfast, far above Russian standard
Location is unbeatable with respect to the panoramic view of the city and its rivers, but be prepared that the hotel is 15-20 min walk from the city center. Public transport at the foot of the hill only.
Nice geographical location, fine seaview.
Restaurant's working from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm... restaurant staff is awful, chairs are dirty.
Staff were excellent.
Water quality was poor.
I liked everything about this hotel! Even though it's an old Soviet style hotel, I thought that was a real plus also! The staff was very friendly and extremely attentive to all my needs. The room was comfortable and the view was awesome!!! I loved hearing the church bells and chimes every 15 minutes! Overall an excellent experience!
Nothing! It was all good!
Clean room Good wiev to the rivers
Very far from city center Bad restorant
1. Extremely friendly personnel. 2. The room was clean. 3. There were people staying in neighbouring rooms, no noise was heard even late at night or early in the morning. 4. WiFi was surprisingly stable not only in the room, but in other places as well. The speed was not very high, but enough for web surfing. 5. There was a kettle in the room with a supply of tea and coffee. 6. Very nice bathroom with plenty of towels and working equipment. Nice and powerful hair-dryer.
1. The curtains were not long enough to block all the incoming light from outside at night. 2. I wish there had been a fridge in the room. 3. If you want to taste everything at breakfast, you'd better come at least before 9 o'clock (although you won't stay hungry in the end). 4. I would recommend the staff to check the pillows (they are not very comfortable) and bed lights (none of them worked in my room). 5. I needed a clothes brush, but unfortunately there wasn't any.
Very comfortable and clean rooms. Comprehensive buffet breakfast and very good value for money.
Excellent views but rather a long walk to the centre.
Room was clean, neat, the bed was comfortable
The reception area is really old and shabby, the reception staff is very friendly, but very slow and unmature.
