Went there for the paralympics. Therefore the location was awesome (right next to the gondola) Staff speaks english well, which isn't a given in russia.

the whole set up is fantastic. We where there for the weekend of the Olympics so yes it was expensive but worth every penny. Our suite was huge, 2 full bathrooms, walk in closets, separate lounge. The list is endless and the pools indoor and out door are brilliant as are all the facilities. We will be going back..

The spa and gym facilities are good. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff in the spa were friendly, and one of the receptionists who helped me find a taxi to Rosa Khutor was brilliant

All but three of the staff I spoke to were rude. The food is truly terrible for a hotel of this kind, let alone for the prices - and I'm not a fussy eater. The entire hotel feels impersonal - cavernous, brightly lit dining halls and business-hotel corridors. The concierge was helpful initially on the phone when I was trying to organise a taxi, but seemed reluctant to call me back with details I'd requested as my cell phone had a UK dialling code. In the end, he didn't call at all and I had to call back several times to get hold of him.

    Very good stuff and location

Shower in the room was not working. When I arrived to the hotel, I asked them for Rennie medicine. They charged me 700 Roubles. In my opinion it's not normal for 5 star hotels to charge their guests when they are in need for such basic medicine
