The breakfast is very good, plus live music during the breakfast!!! The staff is very polite and speaks English (although I speak Russian as well).

You should pay for the Wi-Fi in the rooms although the booking website states that it is free of charge. Too far from the metro station - about 20 mins walk.

If you book via booking.com after 5 pm local time same day ...the hotel reception would not have your reservation...i was told that I had to book again via the hotel with a different type of room and much higher rate, ...next morning the problem was solved by the hotel's manager, junior staff does not know how to check booking.com reservation ...

I stayed there many times in the last 10 years. I like its heritage. Beautiful Yar restaurant, interior design. Rooms need renovation.

Staff is dramatically poor in reception, restaurant etc... (except one young man in the reception). They are not trained and undermotived, like many Russians in other places (must be underpaid?). For a 4 star hotel a bathroom must look better - the one I had (room 421) was below acceptable standards.

The room was spacious. Hotel in soviet style with marble staircase and pictures off Stalin and Bresnjev. Playing harp and piano in the lobby at breakfast. Breakfast ok.

Very noisy traffic. No double glass. Could not close the windows properly to shut out the noise. No mini-bar. Outdated furniture(still from Soviet period?) Only 5 TV channels on and very old TV. Room is not for a 4 star hotel. I wanted a warm bath in the evening no "hot" water available. Poor service.

I cannot say that I liked something. It was not bad, but really nothing special. Probably foreigners will enjoyed its style more. For me it looked like "hello from grandma" - old furniture, old TV... Location is quite convenient - about 15-20 minutes of walk to Belorussky railway station where you can take a train to Sheremetyevo airport.

Very strange internet in the lobby - I could not check my e-mails properly. Quite expensive internet in the room (25$ per day), but I have not tried if it was better. Ourdays internet is really such an easy and cheap thing to make travellers happy, that it's a shame for a hotel pretending to be 4-star not to have free and properly working internet.

It evoked the style of the soviet years and did not suffer from big tour groups.

The Sovietsky is not blessed with a great location.

In generale mi è piaciuto un pò tutto. La colazione è davvero ottima. La stazione Bielorusskaia non è molto distante (ho letto da qualche parte 10 min a piedi ma in realtà ne sono necessari il doppio).

Mancava il frigo e la cassaforte in camera. Il bagno un pò carente.

- Ubogie I monotonne śniadania z wędlinami niepierwszej świeżości - kategoryzacja pokoju "de lux" czyli nic specjalnego, poza łazienką odnowioną przed 10 laty - przynajmniej tak wyglądała - strasznie drogi internet w pokoju - strasznie powolny internet w hotelowym lobby (za free) - chłodne kaloryfery, czyli zimno w pokoju, pomimo zwracania uwagi na to w recepcji - namolne pokojówki, które co pół godziny przychodziły z pytaniem, czy już mogą posprzątać mimo tabliczki "nie przeszkadzać" na drzwiach - malutki i ciasny pokój pomimo dopłaty "de lux" - stary i nienastrojony telewizor w pokoju, gdzie nawet nie było wszystkich bezpłatnych kanałów rosyjskich, albo jakość odbioru była taka, że się nie dało oglądać

ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, design hotel.

Хорошая, по-своему стильная гостиница. Соответствует своему названию в лучшем смысле этого слова. Устроило практически все. Жил в номере, где было удивительно тихо, спокойно, комфортно. Захотелось приехать еще раз, возможно, уже не в командировку, а с супругой, просто отдохнуть. Спасибо!

Интерьер, антураж советской эпохи, высокие потолки, натуральные материалы отделки. Завтрак неплохой. Отлично погладили рубашку. Вежливый сотрудник на ресепшен.

Слышно соседей, прохладно в номерах в октябре, часть персонала слегка застыла во временах СССР. WiFi за 720 руб. в день - это перебор, к тому же сеть через пол дня пропала. Отелю нужно больше лоска.

Очень нравится архитектура, интерьеры 50-х - с детства!)))) Хорошая кухня в рум-сервисе. Говорить о ресторане "Яр" бессмыссленно - там все всегда на высоте!

У меня нет претензий.
