Admissible location, nice interiors, spacious rooms, polite staff. Obviously the member of Sokos group in St Petersburg should be less "Sovietic" than it is now if one consider the hospitality traditions of this hotel. It was a great surprise for me that if I arrived at 10 a.m. they will allow me to have my pre-paid room only if I pay 50% more of a regular day fare, i.e. 4400 roubles (100 euro per two hours for an already paid room). They did have a ready room, but they could allow for a guest to use it for no time in advance. So I had to just wait for two hours in the lobby until I got my room for no additional fee. Is it Ok? |

indulge in the luxury, location wan convenient also. away from the busy streets but yet close to the main sites there is a downstairs club, which was nice and convenient. the staff in the cloakroom though were typically rude in true Russian style. |

spa amenities staff readiness to act. seemed that they were instructed to be vigilant against any possible missing payment. Example? no drinks in the swimming pool if you dont pay firstly although hosted in the hotel... |

The design of the public areas is very attractive with a good range of services and friendly but efficient staff. The assistance by the hotel with visa applications was first class. |

Excellent hotel with spacious comfortable rooms. Spa is very nice with beautiful poolarea and various sauna types. Highly recommendable. Service in restaurant, bar is still not up to date with Western standards. When ordering a beer at bar while staff was emptying dish washer, the answer was wait 10 minutes it is very busy now....Sovjet habits still present. |

Good breakfast, nice spacious rooms, good concierge. Customer service was slightly poor as I have some noise disturbance in my room, and it took them a whole day to finally decide to make me change room |

service. english-speaking staff. free spa and fitness center. extras like a bowling alley and a "cellar" pub. no restaurants nearby. no place to have a simple breakfast besides the hotel buffet @ $33. |

Hotel staff was wonderful, and the hotel was gorgeous! I had no problems and really appreciated the late hours of open bar services which made closing the nights with friends very convenient and comfortable. I will go back! I wish the hotel would provide longer hours of free spa activities. |

Excellent location, near city center and all tourist attractions. Very good SPA is free for hotel's guests. We came to hotel early in the morning, at 7-30. Check-in was very fast. |

A beautiful hotel which is virtually perfect. The hotel foyer is spectacular with glass enclosing a previous lane way converted into cafe and restaurant. Staff were very helpful and many spoke quite good English. The spa area is the best I have ever experienced and is truly luxurious. Breakfast is very expensive at RUB1000pp. But otherwise I can't think of a single thing |

Standard Room was surprisingly big. Shower and toilet are separated (which was also quite surprising) During my stay, there was a wedding reception, when artists were welcoming all visitors, this was annoying. |

We loved the facilities, the room, the Spa and the restaurants. It is decorated with good taste and it is very comfortable. The services should be improved by training of the staff. Some employees were not as polite as a high class hotel like this demands. Some do not speak English very well. Cleanness of the room was poor, they did not change the sheets, not once, in our whole stay (5 days)! |

The location is good for all sight in st. petersburg.the room and the spa are very nice. The breakfast is very expensive and the beverage extremely expensive. When we book the hotel it mention that the rate is including tax and vat When we check out they charge tax for registration support which never mention before. |

the hotel is very good, clean and confortble. the rooms are very beautiful. The problem is the position. It is a bit far from the city center and the underground is not good inSt. Petersburg. ATTENTION: during the summer the bridges that connect vasilevsky island to the city are closed during the night from, 12:30. |

When we checked out they made us pay an extra 300 rub for a supposing registration fee which was sth we hadn't been notified for from the start. It was a hidden charge and not a treatment you expect from a 5 stars hotel. Also, they 'forgot' to give the receipt of our payment. |
