The Spa is amazing. Don't go for the meals at the hotel. The food is very pricey - specially breakfast is overpriced! The location is not very bad - but it takes 15 minutes to walk to the center. Air conditioning didn't work in my room.

Very comfortable hotel. Good location. Possible to walk to Ermitage and Nevski prospekt. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great spa, with a many different saunas and jacuzzis. Wifi is free of charge and works well. Its pricey. Room service charged me $20 for a cheesburger. Then on top of it added a $10 delivery charge. I thought that was very sneeky! The entrance to the spa is free only from 7am to 10am. After that you have to pay 500rubles ($15).

The carpet in our room was soiled. The pillows were ancient. Room service carried a 370 ruble "delivery charge" on top of the 18% gratuity. Breakfast for one began at 1,100 rubles before delivery charges. There were men in the lobby smoking cigars. The spa hot tubs were luke-warm. There was a 2-cm. Coating of scum at the water level in the pool, which needed cleaning badly. The hotel is surrounded by decaying buildings and is located out of the way. The view from my window looked like a slum. The attendants in the spa were needlessly rude.

Lovely, helpful staff, they made me feel very welcome. The breakfast spread is excellent. Excellent if you want to relax and enjoy nice spa. Would definitely recommend staying there.

The price for taxy service - minimum 550Rub even we asked taxy to Hermitage it is 5 min by car. I dont like to catch car on the street, so we must pay for taxy service in hotel. btw, Moscow min price - 400Rub

Location was great. Very calm. Hotel staff friendly. Excellent spa facilities and not overcrowded. I had a very good time and probably will book again. The bar and restaurant were ok, but not more. Food the same. Bar staff ok but not more than that. They did not seem to like that tips could not be added to the bill charged to the room. But that is not the guest's problem...

The Spa was very impressive as was the overall level of services available to guests. The room was too hot. No matter which way we turned the thermostat there was nothing we could do to change the temperature.

The location is good, atmosphere of the hotel is quite relaxing and attractive, good rooms, spaceful enough and clean My room was on the 2nd floor with window facing the bar and the reception (inner yard) Even at midnight it was quite noisy with the music and laughter. I don't consider this room to be good value for money as you can't sleep before the last visitor of the bar finishes his evening.

Swimming pool, saunas, location. There is a strange thing about room service in this hotel. If you want your food served to your room, you have to go to the reception first and pay them in advance. Also you pay for your stay upon arrival, not when you check out like at normal hotels.

Actually I was looking for a place to relax during a long weekend. Sokos hotel has everything I was looking for. Luxury room with a spacious bed and tea cooker. Short way by the special elevator to the Spa. The Spa itself is quite large and provides much more facilities then one would expect from a hotel. One of the nights I had an excellent meal in the Sevilla restaurent with very comfortable seats. And last but not least also the breakfast service was perfect. To summarize my weekend was a success, thanks to Sokos hotel and its personnel.
