This was my first time at this hotel, and, I must say, it was a very
pleasant surprise. First of all, the room was bigger than any other I
have ever stayed at similar class hotels in Western Europe, usa, and
Asia (Tokyo, Seoul). The room was clean, with a big bottle of mineral
water offered as a welcome treat, and, believe me, to any experienced
traveler like myself that's more important than a candy left on your
pillow. And, in this case, there was a whole variety of pillows, I.E.
you have a choice of soft and firm pillows. In addition, there's a
safe in your room, and a bathrobe + slippers for a more relaxing stay.
The rooms are noise-proof which provides for an excellent sleep.
The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful. Upon request, taxi or transfer to/from the airport (or elsewhere) can be arranged.
Breakfast was much better than in most 4/5-star hotels. For example, in Marriott in D.C., you have to stand in a line to order your eggs. In Holiday Inn Chelyabinsk, the friendly staff in the restaurant will fix you up with eggs and/or coffee of your choice.
I have really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, and during my next trips to Chelyabinsk, this hotel will be my place of choice.
