Izmailovo Gamma Hotel    

The location is good right next to Partisanskaya metro. The price is good (for Moscow area) for a budget traveler. The room has a safe. WiFi is available. Check-in and visa registration was fast and easy. There are a lot of restaurants inside to choose from.

None of the cafes or stands in the hotel allow you to take the food back to your room. The sidewalks and pavement surrounding the hotel (as part of the complex, not the streets) are terrible for rolling luggage. Access is difficult if you are on foot.

Metro is only 2 mins away..hotels in that area are many, plus shops, market and big supermarket.

A bit far out from the center.... if you have bags it can be a nightmare on the metro from the airport, as most metro stations dont have lifts or escaltors so you have to carry your bags up all the steps.... if you have someone in a wheelchair the metro is really a no no......hotels are a bit expensive for what you get ....

Right beside metro line that went into centre of Moscow.

Swimming pool not included in price and staff at it didn't speak any English so didn't use it which I had hoped to do.

The room was always clean

The hotel is in a great location, just 15mins away from Red Square by the metro. Large hotel whereby both Gamma and Delta are interconnected internally so you dont have to walk outside to get from one of the hotels to the other. The security is very tight, and you need to show your door pass to get to the lifts of the floors. I actually felt very safe.

The hotel staff are the most miserable and rude people I have ever met behind a hotel reception counter, even the people behind the excursion desk were rude. If any of them smiled, it would probably crack their faces, but I think that is with Russians in general. Dont queue to see anyone for service, as you will spend your whole time their, as everyone just uses their elbows to push in. You must do the same

A lot of cheep and tasty food

This was the first time of staying in Gamma although I have stayed in Delta on 3 other occassions. Your facilities are excellent with a variety of Cafes/Restaurants staffed with friendly people. In my opinion Gamma/Delta could quite easily be 4*. Hope that comment doesn't cost me more the next time of stayng.

Near to the Metro just 5 stops to red sqaure,Lots of nice resturants and bars inside the complex. Very nice rooms, good view from the 28th floor.

i liked the freindlyness,and the over all comfort and locatin was good next to metro station,Good food and service,and clean rooms.

Rooms need aircon especially in summer or winter,,,can be noisy during the night due to other clubs...

-smelly room, not for lack of cleaning, but due to the fact the carpet must have 25 years... -bad location, too far from city center , it is located in the middle of the ex soviet union

No air condition - in the room was 28 degrees celsius although out side was 15 degrees. Mattress was old - my back was feeling its springs in the breakfast I had to wait in long queues to get food

good breakfast, but expensive at $15 per person. For Moscow the room price was decent although not great.

They have a terribly slow system for processing guests. They use an antiquated and labor intensive method for registration that can take twenty minutes up to half an hour to register guests. All forms are processed by hand multiple times and then stamped as if we were still living in the old Soviet Union. What was strange about the hotel is that they have multiple restaurants and bars, but these are almost entirely empty even on a weekend even though the hotel was relatively full.

Close to metro and flea market. 6 stations from Partizanskaja to Teatralnaja (Red Square) with metro takes about 15-20 minutes. Rooms and staff was ok despite the bad comments. WiFi works fine.

I didn't realize there was no airconditioner during reservation from webpage. I have business room but seems no difference between business room and normal room except small flat tv and Marble ground bathroom.

Good hotel with reasonable pricing and excellent location. Girls at business center are very helpful. Luggage keeping facility is very helpful and economical.

But no english tours - that's not fair

hotel staff is very poor in english speaking. there is no heating in May.
