Excellent location in front of tvv park and 2 min away from the Metro (1) No proper English speaking front desk (1 out of 4 was at a communicative level) (2) No proper English speaking INTRUSIVE security (3) Pseudo security sitting at the night cafe with 7 prostitutes who pays them bribes. So I was given a hard time returning my room for a "missing registration card" when they saw me coming out the elevator and the key "proves nothing" the prostitutes had no such a problem! (4) The size of the room (premium) was the smallest I ever got. If that is the premium what does the normal looks like? A c-class ship cabin? (5) Breakfast starts at 7 is very good for a business tourer, but end at 10 is a little too early (a hour too early) fir a city tourer in Moscow at this season, when sunshine is well past 8AM.

I stayed one week at Cosmos in May 2012. This hotel is huge so be advice that it could take a little time for check in but nothing problematic. Otherwise, the hotel is very well located at 3 min walk from vdnk metro station and then couple of stops from downtown. Basically you can reach everything from the hotel using the Moscow metro that is cheap and very convenient. The personal was very friendly, most of them speak a decent english so no worries if you don't speak russian, you will not have any problem using english. Rooms are clean and quite large, and if you have the chance to have one in the higher levels you will definitively enjoy the view! The hotel has as well a lot of entertainment (restaurants, night club, karaoke, bars) so if you don't want to go out by night (although I would definitively recommend to enjoy Moscow by night) you can stay at the hotel enjoy. I read from previous comments that prostitutes are everywhere in late hours, first of all the hotel is not crowed with prostitutes, some of them are effectively around but are very respectful and in any case will disturb you. So even you stay at Cosmos with your family it is not a problem at all. Overall this hotel is very well located withe a really competitive price and friendly personal. I will definitively stay again. Internet is free in the lobby (you can buy a card at the business center to use it in the room) but connection can be very bad at rush hours.

Location Hotel is disaster - dirty rooms and bathroom, old furniture maybe from Brezniev times, long que at check in, problems with invoice as confirmation of the stay. Staff seem to be angry on you but probably they are tired - hotel is huge. Poor breakfast with hundreds of people , security check at the lift , restaurant you feel like under total control. Yes they have swimming pool but entrance fee - 20€ !!!!, free internet only in the hotel lobby. Constant noise in the room - prospect Mira is near, heating has no regulation. Moscow is expensive but prices in cosmos are rather high comparing to what they offer.

Nice building, but nothing more. 45 minutes at check-in. Amazing, very very slowly. Very old furniture. A lot of girls at the night. I think Cosmos is 2* hotel.

Very little Service in this hotel is almost non existent. It is not possible to even leave a message for someone staying in the hotel - as it will not be deleivered and there is no message indicator system in hotel. There are in the evening a veritable shop of women offering their services all over the place - it is out of control. Breakfast is a cafeteria and you agaain can not expect any service.

Very close to Metro station. Close to the cosmonaut museum, which we enjoyed visiting. Allowed an early check-in (~10am) without any problems. Being charged to store bags for a few hours on the day of departure.

The service has become a little bit more friendly. The atmosphere is away from typical business hotel. `The registration takes far too long time! I arrived after midnight and was given room 1132, which is located at the door, separating the corridoor along which the rooms are, from the lift lounge. The doors are old and make noise when closing. This disturbs during the night. Besides, the bathroom was unhygienic! It stinked strongly of mold! This room is not at all suitable for living to anybody as long as it has not been renovated! I was told there were not other free rooms available that moment. I was given another, acceptable room the next day, but one night was under all standards! This is unfortunately very usual at this hotel: they give first to you a bad room saying there are nothing else that moment. Then you are given another, better room. All over, the price (140 € per night) is far too hight for any room at this hotel! Too crowdy in the breakfast room, some items finish already very early in the morning.

The Hotel is located right near the Metro station and is very noticeable so there's no problem reaching it. The room was pretty big and comfortable and the bed was satisfactory (although my girlfriend said it was too soft). There're a lot of facilities, restaurants, shops and a spa area in the hotel itself. The room had a great view over Moscow's vdnh park. * Although my CONS area is pretty long - I'd like to state that it's an OK hotel - if what I wrote doesn't bother you it's really nice, comfortable and in a good location. The biggest issue is that the hotel doesn't provide a free luggage room - it's a 4 star hotel that charges you for storing your luggage after check-out... The second thing is that there's a security guard that is physically blocking the entry to the hotel's elevators - every time you want to go up to your room you have to "Ask Permission" from the guard - for us it was really uncomfortable and strange but I guess it's a minor issue. The room wasn't cleaned during our stay (apparently you have to hang a sign asking to clean the room)... Last but not least is a very strange phenomena - during the evenings there are call-girls in the Lobby that are looking for customers - they don't approach you but I was with my girlfriend so I don't know how it works with single men.

I like location (close to metro), nice and comfortable lobby Bad things about this hotel was old room furniture (even in better - bussines accomodation), obsolete bathroom. But most awful was breakfast, too crowdy, staff does not clean tables (you cant seat anywhere), food is not prepared like to be (salami 4mm thick)...
