Great value! Wonderful location! Would recommend this hotel anyone who wants an inexpensive option in St. Petersburg.

A bit of a strange way to enter off the street.

Super value: the cost of the hostel but comfort and facilities as in 4*hotel.The only reason for low rate is small size of the room. Everything is new and clean.Slippers and hair dryer in the room, clean towels. Fully equipped kitchen. Plus great location in the city centre. It's really shift your expctions!!!

Small room, very hot

Very friendly helpful hotel staff, including the cleaning staff. Reception assisted us with finding directions for shopping, and translating details for us. The hotel room itself was clean and comfortable. Hotel was close to the metro on foot, and was surrounded by many good restaurants in the neighbourhood. It was also walking distance to the Neva River, and the main sights of St Petersburg which were on the other side. The DIY laundry facilities (washing machine, pay per use) was very useful for us in the middle of our holiday. We used the communal kitchen to prepare our own breakfasts.

No breakfast served at hotel - arrangement was for reception to order food from nearby cafe. Also no tea / coffee facilities in room (in both cases we made our own breakfast / tea / coffee in the communal kitchen).

700m away from Gorkovskaya Metro Station (Line 2) Staffs are very friendly. Free handy map at the counter.

good price, good location

The staff are very helpful and nice. The hotel and the room were very neat and clean. It is conveniently located for visiting the city centre and Peter and Paul's fortress, which is just 10-minute walk away. There're lots of cafes and restaurants in the area, as well as 24-hour shops. There's a nice park just across the road from the hotel. A good option for tourist looking for budget accomodation.

There was no air conditioning in the room.

Loved the location - super-central, but quiet and clean. Loved the contemporary design - simple, but opposite to "soviet" that is so common for Russian hotels. Loved the kitchen availability. Loved that it is fully non-smoking - such a rare luxury in Russia.

Couple minor things, not deal-breakers at all - some rooms have small beds and hot water was a challenge to enjoy - due to the type of the heaters installed in the bathrooms, water temp jumps from cold to scolding and needs constant adjustment while showering.

Quite good hotel, excellent service, clean, not far from the city centre....

The breakfast at the cafe opposite (served not in the hotel itself) was terrible - better not to buy it....And we could here all the neighbours reeeeeealy good ((

Location is perfect for any purpose of stay in Saint-Petersburg. But despite many mini-hotel and hostels in the city center Mark Inn is super comfort and clean! Evrything is new (beds,showers,kitchen).Availability of fully equipped kitchen with fringe,microwave,dishes etc is an extra plus. Also wi-fi for free. Entrance and exit of the hotel with the room's key (no need to call the receptionist). In addition,smoking is allowed only outside (for me as a non-smoker is a plus). Perfect value for it's price! The stay was beyond our expectations!

Cold bathroom, small room (even though we ordered a standard room was a small about 12 square meters), very noisy in the hallway, the high price for such conditions

Nice simple hotel, clean rooms, breakfast at the cafe outside the hotel only from 9. Some receptionists don't speak English.

Cozy hotel at the _proper_ part of the city. Calm place, no people crowds, etc. But all city beauties are nearby. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

It is very new, nice and cheap hotel. Staff also so helpfull. With this price, its one of the best. Close to touristic attractions and food. Safe and clean.I Could reccommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay in a good hotel but have small budget..

Мы приехали на учебу с коллегами и выбрали самый бюджетный вариант без излишеств. В итоге все оказалось лучше, чем ожидали) Отличное расположение отеля: в центре Питера, при этом в тихом месте во дворе старых питерских многоэтажек. Чистота, дизайн, ненавязчивость, милые девушки-отельеры.

Один постоялец в перовом часу ночи долго разговаривал по телефону в коридоре, прямо под дверью. Пришлось его шугнуть))

удаленность от метро, не предупреждают на сайте о том что не во всех номерах есть свой с/у. в экономах он на этаже.

расположение отеля.отель находится в историческом районе петербурга,петропавловская крепость в 5 минутах ходьбы.планетарий,театр, кинотеатр, и др.достопримечательности совсем близко.метро рядом.парк. на мой взгляд петроградская сторона в полной мере дает возможность ощутить петербург,вдали от шумного,глупого невского проспекта.шикарные питерские дворики,спокойствие,размеренность,одновременно сердце питера и в тоже время спокойствие.

конкретно в отеле не понравился персонал: надменность и стеб над постояльцами превалирует над расположением и культурой (умностью).но персонал это не отель,отель в целом замечательный.
