Nothing really stood out,. Only one staff member was the least bit friendly and supportive. When I asked where to stow my bags in the morning, the not so friendly staff member stared at me like I was from another planet and continued to drink his beer (it was 9 am). The common area was always a mess with empty bottles and cigarette butts everywhere (even in the shower). Also there were always people sleeping on the common area couches which seemed weird. THe smokers area is right outside the front door so whenever you come and go from the hostel, you have to navigate through a dense cloud of smoke. Yay!!

Excellent location for walking the Kitai Gorod-St. Basils area! Also nice if you want to walk the opposite direction and see a bit of regular Moscow. The staff speaks English well. 1. The kitchen has the usual signs about your mom not being there to clean up after you, but no one seems to mind that and it's usually a big mess until cleaned up during the day. 2. It's about time to change out some comforters and mattresses. 3. Napoleon hostel has 2 divans in the reception area, usually packed. No other place to sit and talk except your bunk. (typical of many hostels)

Расположение - лучше не придумаешь. Отдельная комната на удивление с отличными кроватями и сантехникой. На кухне всё стильно и функционально. Много дружелюбных иностранцев, можно полюбщаться Разве что небольшой бардак в коридорах, подругу смутил персонал, вальяжно возлегающий в халате на ресепшне :)

единственный плюс - местоположение. район китай-города-солянки-ильинки - сердце старой москвы, много кафе на любой вкус. грязно, тесно, никаких удобств, безразличный персонал. один рабочий душ на весь хостел! вечером стафф принимает друзей, шумные пьянки и в довершение картины ада - такие люди останавливаются, что не стесняются заниматься сексом в полном дорме. никому не порекомендую этот хостел.

Близкое расположение к метро и центру, экономичность, чистое белье, полотенце, камера хранения, душ, То, что там были посторонние люди, не проживающие в хостеле, днем напротив моей койки занимались сексом пьяная парочка, а ночью был пьяный дебош и драка около ресепшена,все бегали, орали, кого-то грозились убить. Жесть!

La situation de l'hôtel est impeccable. Les gens de l'auberge étaient sympathiques, pas de vols, connexion internet et boissons accessibles a l'auberge ce qui est pratique pour l'eau. Douches assez accessibles avec toujours de l'eau chaude un plus pour le voyage! Propreté a revoir. Pas d'accès au thé ni au café cuisine très sale, toilettes sales nettoyés une fois par jour. Pas trop de casiers dans les chambres pour mettre les affaires importantes. On ne savait pas qui tenait l'auberge une personne différente toutes les heures voire personne a laccueil et seulement une personne parlait anglais...

The location is great! It's on the fourth floor, which is hard with bags. Also, the stairwell hosts some interesting characters.
