Hotel is located in city centre and within St. Petersburg this is a good option to have low cost accomodation. The staff hardly speak English and if you do not know the advices from other travellers, it is very difficult to find the hotel. The name of hotel is Ave Ceasar which is chain of mini-hotels. Nevsky 61 only means you have to enter the square which is between flats. In on e of the flats the hotel is situated. |

Location - very close to Nevsky Prospekt It is impossible to find the hotel, because it's not called 'Nevsky 61' and it's not on Nevsky Prospekt. We called them and they said they are not Nevsky 61, and they did not expect us. We just went there and figured out that the hotel 'Ave Caesar' is actually the one after all. The staff was unpleasant. They very annoyingly make comments on your every action and detail; e.g. asking when we'll wake up and saying 'no guest adheres to their plans'. If guests from another room have breakfast at the one table they have, you may have to wait. They do not allow guests to lock their rooms and take the keys, saying it's because guests keep losing keys and they are tired of making new ones. Towels were not changed. |

The location of the hotel is excellent, close to all museums and monuments. The room is clean. The staff is kind and attentive. But I think the breakfast is quite poor, there is no choice, it could be more diverse for the money they charge. |

Funcionários muito simpáticos esforçando-se para falar Inglês. Comunicação até foi fácil. Claro que em português zero... Deixaram-me ficar até às 0.00 do dia seguinte sem pagar mais por isso. Friendly people giving them best! They allow me to be in the room till 0.00 of the day after without additional costs. David Ferraz, 2009 Fica bem localizado. No entanto, para lá chegar, entra-se para uma rua / beco com pouca visibilidade nocturna. The acess is trought a small street very darkness but its ok. |

Le personnel très gentil mais ne parlant que le Russe et surtout la situation de l'hôtel. Impossible de le trouver sans téléphoner et en plus comme personne ne parle anglais il a fallu se faire aider par des personnes rencontrées dans la rue |

Situation géographique, chambre ppropre, personnes aimables Ce n'est pas véritablement un hôtel, plutôt quelques chambres dans une maison privée, maison vraiment dégueulasse de l'extérier et plus encore dans la cage d'escalier. La photo avec vue sur nevsky 61 est totalement trompeuse. D'ailleurs de là c'est quasi impossible de trouver. L'indication vers l'"hôtel" (d'un autre nom) est dans la rue parallèle. Vraiment dommage d'avoir trouvé. Une fois à l'intérieur et débarassée de l'odeur de la cage d'escalier, ça va (si ça ne vous dérange pas que vous entendez chaque mot en provenance de la "réception" ou du couloir et que tv uniquement en russe). |
