Convenient location close to railway station, comfortable rooms, good food in restaurant

The hote pre-authorize my card on arrival and then they did not use this when paying on departure, just charged my card again, preautorisation was blocked on my account for the whole week and I could not use these money.

Location

Been there several times before and satisfied, this time everything went wrong. My car does not fit into the garage lift - max. 4.9m lengths. I end up paying a fortune in front of Railway station. Parking in front of the hotel is prohibited. Toilet broke down several times during my 2 nights stay. Room phone was in-operational and their failed to fix it during my stay. Selection of the food at breakfast deteriorated (compare to the past). When checking out, I was presented only the Total, rather then the detailed bill. I instist to get a detailed bill to find out that I am overcharged by some 10%. Though this has been fixed at place, it took 30 min of paperwork and I would wait for the delta for some two weeks. Based on my recent experience, I would not chose this hotel again.

Great location close to the metro "Plochad Vosstania". A large number of shops around, including the mall "Galereya" and the shopping center Stockmann. And there are also a great amount of cafes and restaurants near hotel. Varied menu for breakfast buffet was also nice. Furthermore I want to mentioned friendly and helpful staff.

As for another side of living in Park Inn Nevsky, I was really disappointed. There isn't any mini-bar in our room. It was surprise for me, because even if I wanted to drink some water, I had to go down to the first floor and ask somebody at reception. As you understand, it was't convenient to go from 8 floor to first to have a glass of water to take your medicine. Fortunately, I have no problems with the heart, otherwise I would have died long ago, running from the eighth floor to the first I stayed in a standard room, there were no bathrobe, no slippers. Shower gel in the room was on the first day, then ended and no one filled up it again. And the worst thing was the lack of normal water's pressure in the shower. It was extremely difficult to take a shower. Also, the water was constantly changing from cold to hot. In general, none of us neither I nor my wife didn't like living in this hotel. In St. Petersburg there are a lot of hotels, you can choose something better. And even for less money. That was the first and the same time the last our visit in Park Inn Nevsky

Location is good next to train station , room was very tiny , couldnt open my suitcase in the room itself so I used the desk . Bathroom is big and clean except some long hair on the floor which didnt belong to me , I guess the cleaner lost her hair in somehow. Breakfast in the Paulaner restaurant is ok , full of tourists so except large group.

The housekeeper didn't clean my room everyday. I had to ask for it. Breakfast is exactly the same everyday....

Very friendly welcoming staff who spoke excellent English. Bavarian restaurant was nicely set out, good food, friendly and quick service, never had to wait long for a meal. Breakfast also very good, lots of choice. Location was good, near on Nevsky Prospekt but at the quieter end so you weren't on the main boulevard. Also had free guest computer - the only time in Russia I was able to access important home emails! Room was spacious, quiet, very clean. Bright modern, smart-looking decor. Live band in restaurant too!

It's close to railway station right at the centre of the city. Looks nice at first time.

Price of the room is compatible with 5 stars hotels in Europe. It was nearly about 230 Euro per night but quality wasn't so exciting as it costs. Nice but no more.

Location was excellent and very close to Nevsky prospect and subway station, although not quite comfortable to take a taxi as they charge too high due to the taxi point is very close to Moskovsky railway station. If you take taxi it goes all around hotel which take much time to beat the traffic. Hotel staff were very helpful and attended immediately on any requests we had, like we asked for iron, needle and threads, tea pot, all were delivered in a timely manner

Wi Fi connection was very poor and signal was available only closer to the entrance door, I am not sure why. Hotel room could be slight bigger, room was small and when you unpack all your stuff, there is no place put anything. Very small room. Well our room was standard double however we got used to spacious rooms in the past.
