Peking Hotel    

Ótima localização, prédio muito bonito, quarto amplo com pé direito alto, vista do quarto para um parque. Café da manhã bom, restaurantes e bar animados com boa comida e boa apresentação.

O chuveiro não saia muita água; A cama (apesar de grande e bonita) tinha o estrado torto ou quebrado, você deitava e ficava inclinado para as laterais. A calefação não sei se era automática, pq passei um pouco de frio dentro do quarto. A música tanto do bar quanto do restaurante era muito alta e dava pra ouvir dos corredores do quartos e dentro do elevador.

O minibar encontra-se com snacks fora do prazo.

Gostei da localização do hotel e da atenção que os funcionários do hotel tiveram conosco.

Bem localizado para visitar a zona da Praça Vermelha, kremlin, St. Basil's cathedral, teatro Bolschoi, etc, mesmo a pé.

Dificuldade em encontrar quem fale algo que não seja russo.

Gostamos da localização e da amabilidade dos funcionários, em particular da recepção. Sempre foram muito prestativos para indicar locais na cidade e para tentar entender os nossos desejos, a pesar das dificuldades do idioma. Os quartos tem um bom tamanho e banheiros confortáveis e limpos.

Os colchoes e travesseiros merecem uma reciclagem. Alguns estão afundados no meio da cama.

Lobby is not very beautiful

The room was rather big and bed comfortable. Nice breakfast. Location is very good, near the metro.

Elevators were very small, seemed to be at least 20 years old.

The resterant & the sports bar. Great food choice and resenably priced.

The spa was £25 an hour just to use the sauna steam room. Didn't like that every floor you could smoke. Could smell it in our non smoking rooms. &Amp; charging us to see the live bands although we staying in hotel. Should be in with the hotel.

This is my second visit to this hotel, location is good, it is near to underground station, breakfast and diner are good too. I can not say: Staff are so friendly and they do not know english, but staff of reception knows english and they are very frendly. Clean and good hotel. I can prefer that hotel for stay on the future.

Under the Russia service standards this hotel is fair, front desk speaks English, Internet connection is included for basic operations, walking distance to a Metro station and security staff 24/7

Internet connection is included but not good if you like to go over heavy documents. Bath towels had cigarette smell even you don't smoke in the room.

Actually there is nothing to mention in according to the price. This hotel is really awful.

1) Ugly reception and other public facilities (bar, lobby and so on), as there was nothing made from poor 1990s. 2) the room interior was frightening: cheap Belorussian furniture make me feel like in poor hostel, untidy walls and veils (as they were dirty); 3) bed was BAD; the mattress was too soft and uncomfortable; 4) there was nothing in the room for your convenience: no plates, glasses and other stuff; no wine openers; I spend more than 20 m

Nice historical (after great war, Stalin built) building, with 3 meter ceilings and red carpets in the halls, wooden furniture and old-style decorations.

The staff hasn't changed since the hotel belonged to KGB.... Generally service is poor in Russia, but here its absolutely unfriendly.

It was good place to stay.

Spacious rooms, high ceilings, clean. Location is main advantage of the hotel, 20 minutes on foot or 2 metro stations to Red Square, lots of nice restaurants and clubs around, a theater and a concert hall. 15-minute walk to Belorussky train station for the express train to Sheremetyevo airport.

Security personnal was simply rude asking us to prove that we are both live in the hotel and are registered there.

It is very amusing hotel. If you want to pay money for service that promise you, but won't provide. It is your hotel. On a site booking.com in the room description: both conditioner, and bathtub, and wifi. Luxury suite was paid. 1 . The conditioner didn't work. On a reception explained that it works only in the summer (!). It was stuffy in the room, and the window couldn't be opened - on the street it was very noisy, a window was dirty. 2 . Wifi didn't work. On a reception explained that in my room wifi doesn't work, I have to go to the hall. But I specially reserved certain room for work! 3. In a bathroom a bathtub isn't present, and there was a shower cabin. It was worse which doesn't happen. In a shower cabin the hose was broken. I never wrote any responses, but here didn't sustain. Owners of this hotel have to spend the night at least one night in any Moscow hotel with three or four stars to understand a difference and to do conclusions.

-I was given smoking room despite the fact that I have booked non- smoking Room. Reception said that their system is not aligned with booking.com and they can not recognize smoking/non-smoking bookings. - My request to give me another room was declined: reception said that they do not have any rooms available - Very poor customer service - VERY NOISY in the room - you can hear traffic from the street

friendly staff, great location

My first visit to Moscow or Russia, and at first I was dismayed - major construction sites across the street, and along side, a sunken highway; no shops or little restaurants in view on the block. However, it is right near the center of town, and once you find your way to cross the street, Philharmonic Hall is right there, as well as a palace of a Metro Station, only 2 stops or a long walk from the Red Square. The hotel lobby is pretty, the staff - not quite used to speaking English- were as helpful as they could be. The little coffee shop off the lobby took me two days to realize it was there, but was really good- check out the really fresh oj - and there's even an Apple store on the 5th floor! The hallways were spacious and elegant, and my room - a superior single - was small but pretty. I had a good view in the back from the 7th floor, and it was quiet and private. The housekeeping staff was particularly friendly and attentive, and I loved the ceiling of my room. Once the construction is completed across the street, I think the location will be much improved. There are a few nice tables and a coffee/bar right as you come into the lobby, so there is a welcoming feeling. I never made it down for the breakfast buffet, but I hear it is very good. The Hotel is in one of Stalin's "skyscrapers" - Moscow Landmarks - and it is quite an incredible building, that is well kept up inside and out. I'd certainly stay there again. Good value for the price. Do check out the Tchaikovsky Cafe across the street in at the Philharmonic, and the Philharmonic itself - a beautiful hall.

The only complaint I had is the mattress. It was like a box spring without the top mattress on it, just topped by a small pad. I complained, but they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. So they put an extra blanket under my fitted sheet, and I decided it was part of the Russian experience. There also was no stopper on the sink, and no tissues. Bring your own washcloth - they don't provide. And I was glad for my own nice bar of soap - theirs is a mere fragment. But these are small things, and I would still go back.

The Peking Hotel is a Soviet hotel masquarading as an International hotel. The management is inefficient. The financial system is not customary - firstly you have to pay the bill every day you stay there and secondly if you check out without giving 24 hours notice they charge you a day's concellation fee. You can't use the hotel facilities and sign on your room - you have to pay for every meal/drink separately. In short, anonyone staying in this hotel more than once needs his head examined
