Hotel Peter the 1st  

Just 5 mins walk from Red Square the location is great, in-house restaurant is more than fair and good breakfasts. Reception staff helpful when needed and rooms are a good size - just lovely! Comfortable, warm and somehow homely, you could do far worse!

Internet should be free and rooms should have tea/coffee - these are basics this day and age. It's Russia so no one is going to be wearing a smile, it's just the way it is, but this detracts from the overall impression when dealing with staff. Bathroom toiletries are appalling - take your own. I was going to mention that having only CNN/BBC in English was a poor choice but our St Petersburg hotel had zero English channels so I guess we were lucky after all! For the price is was only fair, small improvements could make a big difference and justify the rate.

this hotel should not be at the qategorie of 5 stars hotel like Metropol or Savoy, it is 4 stars hotel

Comfortable location of hotell in the center of town, close to metro station. Nice room, everything you need is by hand.

Location and Food

No Tea and Coffee making facilities in the room Expencive Internett (Should be Free) for the price you pay for the room. No smile and un welcoming attidude (Reception) Could not use our laptop due to the hotel cannot supply an adaptor compatable with English Plugs.

Great breakfast, comforable beds

Location is superb. You can hear the Kremlin clock when you go to bed and wake up :-)

Very unfriendly staff. Use of Wifi is charged for approx 10 euro per hour. It is already expensive, but they have charged me also for one day fee on the bill. The connection is ended without any notice. Absolutely not commendable for business stay.

Exquisite service on the vip floor. Bar none ! The spa is amazing,so relaxing and beautiful! The room, bed and bathroom were excellent! The only surprise was how attentive, proffesional and fun the staff were! Would have liked the wifi to be free as in other hotels, but their other extras were awesome! Highly reccomend this hotel to everyone !

Безусловно отличное расположение, просторный номер и ванная комната.

Но больше моментов которые не понравились. В ванной пахло, в номере было жарко и кондиционер не спасал, все имеет довольно поношенный вид. В общем можно было бы не придираться, но в Москве есть более хорошие гостиницы за те же деньги.
