The staff were so friendly and worked so hard and the hotel had a fortune spent on fitting it out. Walls were a bit thin I could hear all conversations and actions!! in next room. Super location near to all the major tourist attractions. The Internet was very slow and the connection a bit slow at times. Rooms very hot |

Distance from all important sights. Proximity of shopping center & restaurats-bars. Helpful staff. Warm floor in the bathroom. Small shower. Not enough (english) channels at TV. No radio & music available at TV although mentioned that it was offered in the services. |

Great location! The gym/pool&sauna open from 7:00 till 22:00 (free of charge till 11:00 unless you stay in a Deluxe or a frequent guest) so it was possible to swim twice a day. I did not hear any noise from my room. Mineral water and plate of fruits upon an arrival. Rooms are very simple/nothing special but quite clean. I was asked to leave a 3.000 roubles (more than 100$) deposit in case of using mini-bar. If refuse (as I did) they take off all the snaks and lock the fridge. I did not like that. The TV channel that I wanted to see did not work at all (russian federal channel which should been working for sure). Impossible to order a taxi - their fixed price is unbelievable! To order a limousine will cost you cheaper. |

The front staff were not so helpfull that they refused to change a 5,000 ruble bill without reason and without politeness. They were talking themselves ignoring the customers in front. |

Location right in city centre, walking distance from most major sights and many nice restaurants and cafes. They did not give us the paper slip that proves your registration, which ended up in a big hassle later. So make sure you get it (as you pay for it as well!) |

I can really recomend this hotel for a stay in St. Petersburg. It is in a very good location, around the corner form the Hermitage and Nevskyi Prospect. The hotel is comfortable, the staff helpful, the prices reasonable. I was particularly impressed that we weren't charged extra for the registration of our visas. We only paid a small administration fee. |

Good value. Prime location, two blocks from Nevsky (main avenue). Near major sightseeing venues, including Hermitage Museum, St. Isaac's Cathedral and Waterfront. Excellent Concierge, gets tickets to major attractions including Mariinsky Theater and Hermitage. Restaurant offers tasty inexpensive fix menu dinners for guests. Employees make effort to please. Highly recommended for cost conscious travelers. Hallways are a bit laberynthic. Too many steps in reception, restaurant and other areas could make it difficult for older guests. Rooms spartanly decorated, need more closet space and drawers. Not enough soap and shampoo, towels a bit thin. Buffet breakfast needs improvement, "Light" a la carte breakfast is much better and less expensive. |

Location was terrific. Able to walk to all sites and attractions In most western hotels the concierge desk is set up to aid and assist the guests. Firstly the concierge is poorly located and secondly the services it offers are at a massive premium to the market rate. ie tickets for the bridges tour were offered at 3,950rb per person but were bought at the Neve river 10 minutes away for 600rb per person! |

Location The hotel is exceptionally overpriced for what you get (cold and run down rooms), the pictures on the website defenitely do not reflect the rooms actually received. |

The hotel is very good situated in the city center and close to several main monuments and the central shopping street. The hotel was surprisingly not willing to offer the service to call a public taxi. Only the expensive hotel taxi service was offered. |

Very nice location - in the very centre, close to the Palace and St. Isaak Cathedral. Very friendly and helpful staff. We booked 4 rooms, 3 were very spacious and light, one was small and a bit noisy as close to a lift. Apart from this,no particular improvement points though. |

It was okey. The room was clean and the house keeping did a good job when I stayed there. It took the reception a long time to give my passport back. The shower in room 348 was extremely small, you could hardly fit in there and funny enough there was enough room to make it bigger, so it was a decoration error. |

Service and flexibility. Nice staff. Not really. I have stayed several times. Perhaps that you sometimes smell smoke from the hall way. |

Our room and the public areas of the hotel were beautiful and very comfortable. Most of the staff spoke very good English (a nice bonus for travellers with limited Russian language ability). The concierge service was adequate, but lacked emthusiasm. Also, the hotel charges for local phone calls (is this standard practice in Russia?) |
