Pio Hotel  

We stayed at Pio during july 15-18, 2011 and liked everything. This minihotel is amazing :-) Location is perfect! Stuff is very friendly. You feel at home in Pio - its very cosy and warm and clean as well. Kitchen is nice and it is good to have the opportunity to cook there or to warm food. Free Wi-Fi connection. Shower is superb! Spacious and cosy rooms. Ikea style ;-)

Breakfast is nice but if u like Buffey sltyle breakfast and a lot of food and choice - its not for you. We liked the breakfast as well :-))))

Staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. It's confortable staying at Pio, just like at home. Home made breakfast would be prepared when we woke, although choices are limited, it is free of charge. Appreciated such service. Good location, close to Nevsky Prospect, Kazan Cathedral, Russian Museum and Winter Palace. Can get those places within 30 mins on foot.

I was shocked by the front door of the building, it looks very rough, seems there is no people living there; but it is totally different when getting inside the hotel. Good nice.

The warm welcoming of the tenant of the hotel, the nice breakfast every morning, the atmosphere of the hotel, you feel like your home, it was a really nice stay. Moreover the cleaning service was very good.

Home atmosphere

Does not look much from from the outside but very clean inside. Convenient location and walking distance of all the attractions assuming you are used to walking, the furtherest attraction is Peter and Paul and at a Guess just under 2 miles but the walk is not so bad as there is lots to see along the way. Also not too far from the metro if you arrive from the airport. Have a map of the city pick one up at the Airport from information or fron the tourist office in Nebesky prospect.

No complaint as far as we were concerned but if you are a light sleeper and easily woken up the phone in the office does ring in the night and if you are on the same floor or nearby you could be woken up.

Staff was very nice.

Room was very small - cupboard was half-blocking the entrance. The modern furniture in the description turned-out to be the cheapest ikea stuff. Breakfast had to be planned in advance (menu + time). Everything looked rather like a cheap hostel. The quality did not match the price.

хорошие завтраки, достаточно чисто, приветливый персонал

далековато идти с ребенком от метро и остановок общественного транспорта, горячая вода была некруглосуточно

в отеле: вежливый персонал, предлагается завтрак и время завтрака на выбор, в любое время суток можно воспользоваться кухней, на которой есть всегда гор. и хол. кипяток, чай и кофе.(хотя в нашем номере был холодильник, чайник, плита и большой выбор посуды). понравилось, что после душа можно встать на теплый обогреваемый пол.

близкое расположение к невскому проспекту,рядом фонтанка, цирк,театры.приятный персонал,достаточно сытные завтраки-стандартно входит хлеб,йогурт,масло,сок,чай,кофе,джем, а на выбор,как основное блюдо- вар.яйца,яичница с колбасой,каша овсянная,фрукты.возможность выбрать время завтрака.очень красивый старый дом с камином в подъезде,в номерах лепнина на высоких потолках и тепло.в номерах городские телефоны,рядом с домом круглосуточный магазин со всем необходимым,почасовая оплата при продлении.

очень сильная слышимость за окнами,ночью часто собирается весёлая,громкоголосая молодёжь.номера переделаны из квартир,поэтому в каждой комнате стены санузла из гипсокартона,и ночью,если кто-то идет в туалет или включает воду-ощущение,что это происходит прям рядом с кроватью.душ недвижим-это цельная негнущаяся конструкция на палке,намертво прикрепленная к стене.частями помыться невозможно- только целиком,что не всегда удобно.жили на втором этаже,администратор на третьем этаже,столовая на четвертом этаже- внутреннего перехода со второго на четвертый нет,только с третьего на 4-й,поэтому утро начиналось с выхода из теплого номера на холодную лестницу подъезда и наверх в столовую.в целом,за такую цену,чистоту и приятность персонала,вышеперечисленное-, мелочи.

Возможность недорого покушать в любое время суток))

очень тяжело поднимать чемоданы на 4й этаж. Мебель в номере подобрана неудачно.

Светлый чистый номер. Удобное расположение на тихой улице.

Звукоизоляция, но т.к. за день уставали так, что в принципе это и не так важно.
