Location was very central, beds were comfortable to sleep in, but all the furniture is from IKEA.
STN service was quite frankly very poor, tried to charge us triple price for the transfer, which we did not take. Apartment was very dirty when we arrived at 2 hours after the check in time. Had to request cleaner to come back. To open the door you need to call a number from a pre-approved mobile phone - really a big hassle! No sun, as all windows are overlooking internal yard, which is like a well. Toaster did not work, very basic appliances.
bed is not good to sleep
The location was great.
The apartment building was under renovation - the noise of workmen was terrible. It was hot but could not leave the windows open due to mosquitoes. The experience for our family was terrible and we moved out the next day. This apartment should not be rented!
Excellent location, just a few meters from the Admiralteyskaya Metro Station (purple line); located within a few hundred meters of the Winter Palace (by the Hermitage Museum). The apartment was spacious and very quiet throughout the day and night. Good restaurants all around the apartment.
Furniture and lighting were very deteriorated and uncomfortable (i.e. in center of dinner table was a deep black hole from past guests' unattended cigarette; overhead lamps burnt out and/or falling out of the wall base/sheetrock) unusable clothes washing machine due to broken door handle; sofa couches worn & uncomfortable; bed mattresses thoroughly covered in mysterious stains thus resulting in very unpleasant sleeping experience. Lastly, the cleaning staff -- a very large Russian man, then a few minutes later, a Russian woman -- barged into flat at 10:15 a.m. due to some misunderstanding with apartment management staff (naturally, cleaning staff spoke zero English). Overall a very frightening experience.
Location of the apartment is great. Comfort and nice.
I have to go to the main office to get the key and it was a bit annoying, because the location of the apartment is quite far from the main office.
The location was superb, no more than a two minute walk from the hermitage. We like the idea of staying in a flat over a hotel because it's more freeing. (I should mention that our group didn't really fit any of the options: I currently live in Russia and my parents (60) and younger sister (30) and I stayed together here.) The flat is Russian...and we liked that. The kitchen was well equipped and the premises secure. Check-in and check-out were far simpler than with a hotel. All in all, I would stay here again. I just wouldn't trust the photos.
Despite the address on the booking, we stayed at a different location. I know that the site lists all the different locations that have similar flats, but the one we stayed in was vastly different than the photos that we saw associated with our rental. While we could fit all four of us in the flat, the only place or privacy was the washroom and even on that door, the lock didn't work. There was no door to the bedroom, in fact the bedroom must have been built around the bed as there was, quite literally, no space around any side of the bed. The place was mostly clean but, on lifting my suitcase up, the bottom was covered with dust from under the side table (not a low table hard to reach with a broom or mop). My parents had some issues with the comfort of the bed, but my sister and I found the pull out sofa quite comfortable.
